I hadn't seen Ba playing for some time, since he left the Bundesliga. Now just watched the highlights, seems like he's still got that nice movement and feeling where he needs to be in order to create good opportunities.

Just watched the highlights. There were some really nice moves. :) Can someone tell me how Marin did? In the highlights the only thing I could see was his pass right before the penalty.

If Chelsea convinces Lampard to play for Werder for one seaons plus another season as an option, fine by me. :) (But since I doubt we could realistically pay Lampard, I'd rather that Chelsea decides to let Kevin stay another season with us. ;) )

Since I'm from germany I have no live experience with the PL. How are the fans in the stadium about whistling / booing down their own players they don't like? Does that happen a lot or barely ever? Cheers!

I just started to watch Chelsea games when I can this season (I'm mainly a fan of Werder Bremen). I just feel the need to express how bad I think Torres is at Chelsea. I really think it would be best for the club and the player to part ways. Falcao would probably be the best player - that is kind of available - to replace him. And changing teams would - I think - also give Torres the chance to leave this downward spiral. I doubt he can do it at Chelsea...

Well he was highly likely to get a 2nd yellow card soon. That first foul and then he commited a tactical foul (I think in the second half) which the ref kindly did not give the second yellow for. I think it was ok to take him out, but I think he did not play worse than Moses or Oscar tbh. Maybe even slightly better (but really not much of a difference).

Greetings from germany! I'm glad Marin got a chance to play in a real game finally. Not so glad about the first 45 minutes though, but in the second half he was pretty good, creating maybe the best chance of the game for Chelsea to score. (Comeon Moses.. just touch that round thing maybe 1 inch more and the ball is in... :( ) All in all I think what killed the game was the first half where the CB's seemed to sometimes ignore the R/LB and Luiz + Lampard weren't giving them enough options, resulting in fun long balls to the front. Or more often into the nightsky. When the ball came through okayish there was Torres in the front, where he did his usual 'magic' (other people might call it losing the ball).
