  1. Come home Special One! Arrgh, can't take much more of the waiting!! Next two weeks will seem like an age. We have to put up with Benitez chirping in every 2 mins.
  2. So lets get this straight, 'Jaycee': Hates Club Legend John Terry Hates best owner in world club football Roman Abramovich Doesn't want the Special One back Is in '2 minds' about Ashley Cole Looks down on and insults fellow Chelsea supporters Insults our songs Ridicules our passion and support Thinks our passion and vocal support belongs 'in the 70's' Likes to watch games sat in silence, with a handshake and a smile should we score a goal.............. .......Oh and he's pro Benitez!! Hmmmmm......!! Get to fcuk, you troll. I'm glad I know of no other Chelsea 'fan' who thinks or acts like you.
  3. For the first time EVER, lol, Martin Lipton has written an article about Chelsea in the Daily Mirror that I agree with!! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-column-rafa-benitez-resigned-1900341 He basically identifies the problems and issues with the squad and individual players and get's it right for once. The Squad: ludicrously unbalanced, lacking depth and experience. First team, good enough to win the title, the squad never going to be any better than third. GK position: One goalkeeper, plus two who are good enough for the warm-up, but no more. LB: No real cover, with Ryan Bertrand not progressing. Victor Moses still looks a Wigan player and Marko Marin and Yossi Benayoun are nowhere near good enough. Striker position: Fernando Torres may have ended up with 21 competitive goals but only eight of those were in the Premier League, with the Spaniard's winner against Everton only the second he has scored all season against a top seven club. As for Demba Ba, if he were to leave in the summer, it would not be a shock. If Mou comes back he's got a bigger job than previously thought. If Emanelo is such a genius why do we have a squad so unbalanced with these issues? We need to stop buying mediocre players ie Ba. We desperately need a world class Striker, Falcao or Cavani and a strong, commanding, defensive presence, Mikel ain't it and Essien is finished, IMO. Along with bringing back Lukaku, Courtois and KDB we should be stronger.
  4. Instead of wasting £7m + wages on Ba in Jan, we should've just recalled Lukaku. Shows how crap Emanelo is.
  5. Ba is a load of crap. I've no idea why we bought him in Jan. Should've just recalled Lukaku and saved £7m and Ba's wages! Hope we can offload Ba in the summer to PSG, his 'dream' club, he's not Chelsea, he's a mercenary. We need a world class striker, either Falcao or Cavani, not Rooney and no more mediocre players!!
  6. Me too. I really don't want us to sell KDB, he should be given a chance at CFC. This pursuit of Schurrle is just a mystery!! Don't get it?
  7. Essien is finished, his injuries have made him a shadow of the player he once was. I've gone off Felani, do not think he's right for Chelsea. Khedira would be perfect.
  8. I really don't understand our interest in Schurrle. Am totally mystified with the clubs obsession with him. No other top teams seem to be interested either.
  9. I really really don't want Rooney anywhere near CFC. The thought depresses me. It feels like if any club has a striker past his best, on the wane and clearly out of sorts, you can always rely on Chelsea FC to come along and pay top dollar for said striker. How on earth has the club not learned it's lesson from expensive flops? Rooney will take it to another level, he earns £250k PER WEEK, FFS. Even Torres is not earning anything like that. There are much better strikers available Falcao, Lewandowski, Cavani. I hate Rooney's attitude. He thinks he's such a good player, yet has only had one or two exceptional seasons at United and has not played well for England for years. It's time he was given a reality check.
  10. We won't win anything with that line up. Torres: Unreliable, in and out of form Ba: Not good enough, too mediocre, Newcastle his level Lukaku: Very young, excellent potential and should be given a chance in the squad but we cannot rely on him in CL or FA Cup Final. Not ready to be our main striker yet. Schurrle: Unproven in our League and in no way a world class striker. If, so good how come Bayern/ Dortmund aren't interested? Looking at our squad, the one thing we are missing in a world class centre forward. United went out and brought a proven goal scorer in RVP, Barca have Messi, PSG got Ibra etc etc. We will not win anything without one.
  11. I totally disagree, another mediocre '3rd option' is exactly what we don't need! None of our strikers have performed well for us, even Drogba in his last season and half was not scoring a lot in the League. If we want to win the League and really challenge in the CL, a top world class striker who can be relied upon in the big, high pressure games is essential. United realised this last season, when Rooney was not delivering and they went out and got RVP, a proven world class goal scorer, without Messi Barca would not have won the Spanish League, without Falcao, Atleti would not be in a CL place, without Ibra PSG would not be top of Ligue 1. A top team like Chelsea NEED a proven world class striker not a gaggle of mediocre '3rd options'. Lukaku should come back but he is 19/20 yrs old, has not played in games when the pressure is on and has not been the main focus of a top team challenging for honours. There is no way he can be our main forward. Torres stats don't tell the full pic, he has been very poor in the League and I don't have full confidence in him. Ba is just mediocre IMO, not and never was suitable for CFC, I was against us getting him. Another Emanelo 'genius' signing, lol. I also don't get the club's obsession with Schurrle, he alone is not the answer to our striker needs/issues. If he was so good how come Bayern or Dortmund aren't rushing to sign him?
  12. So who will be leaving CFC this summer and who do we need to get, to make us a team that dominate and control games again? Even though we have had moderate success this season, in games like against Benfica we have not dominated in the way we should. Still lots of room for improvement in the squad and a bit more balance is needed. We haven't really got many players who are at their peak and who could be described as world class, a team of Chelsea's stature should have some. OUT Hilario Turnbull Malouda Kakuta Benyoun Essien Ba IN Falcao/Cavani a top class, strong defensive signing Bring back: Lukaku, Courtois, De Bruyne
  13. They did not win anything. Look at United, they had RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck.
  14. What the heck? Laudrup to Chelsea would be a disaster. What has Laudrup achieved compared to Jose? If Roman hires Laudrup, he's totally lost the plot.
  15. We need rid of Demba Ba, not good enough for CFC. Next season if Torres stays, our striking options should be: Torres, Lukaku and either Falcao or Cavani. Every top team in European football needs options in attack.
  16. Same here. But some people (some Chelsea fans, the Board, the media, other club's fans) regard top 4 and a European Cup as success. That's exactly my point, Chelsea need to do it our way and ignore outside siren voices, if that means sacrificing 'stability', so be it.
  17. WRONG! Not true. Bayern Munich have won the Title this year by 20 odd points in the Bundesliga and are in a CL Final for the second year in a row. Yet Heynckes has been 'moved on' in what amounts to the sack in all but name. They are bringing Guardiola in and announced it in Jan. Can you imagine the media outcry if Chelsea did that? What I'm saying is our perception of our own club is being warped by media propaganda, due to the bias towards United because when compared with other EUROPEAN Clubs, we are no more or less stable than our rivals on the Continent when it comes to managers. BTW if you are arguing for rewarding success with the job, you are saying you want Benitez to be given the job permanent? I fecking don't.
  18. FFS not this 'stability' crap AGAIN!! ZZZzzzzzz.......... No other Club in any other League in European football has this so called nadir of 'stability' that has been fetishised in England because of Ferguson. Because the English media are so enthrall to Man United they push the myth out that having the same manager for decades is the key to success, it's not. It has been for Man United (although interestingly they have not been as successful in Europe as they should have been) but lets see how their 'stability' holds true now Moyes is in charge. Bayern, Real, Barcelona, Italian clubs etc all sack managers regularly, some even more than Chelsea but you won't read that in English newspapers. No true Chelsea fan would want RA to leave, IMO he's the best owner in world football. Of course he makes mistakes, no-one is perfect. But how can anyone doubt his passion for Chelsea? He watches us whenever he can and he had the same emotions as all us fans in Munich. Look at Man City's owner, has only watched ONE game since buying them. Spurs owner never turns up, Arsenal's owner is a leech and the Glazers are in it to enrich themselves. RA has put £1bn of his own money into Chelsea and brought us success we could never have dreamt of. Oh and don't pretend Chelsea were all stable and harmonious before RA bought us. Ken Bates was very trigger happy himself.
  19. It wouldn't surprise me. Benitez speaking in forked tongue, trolling us, supposedly dropping hints about Mourinho that could also apply to him.
  20. He should be our No.1 target. The only player who can fill Drogba's boots.
  21. We should keep KDB, if he's good enough for Dortmund then he's good enough for us.
  22. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2326090/Rafa-Benitez-charge-Chelsea-games-America.html
  23. I feel sick in case Mourinho doesn't come back to Chelsea and say goes to PSG. If the Special One is not managing us next season it's going to be the biggest come down ever. If it's not completely true, it's poor on the club's part because they have allowed the Mou to Chelsea meme to run away like a steam train, the media report it as fact and players are all talking in public about it. Never underestimate our Board's ability to FCUK UP, big time!! Probably, Varane and Khedira.
  24. Sadly not. He's coming to the US with us :-( He's also trying to put some pressure on the Board, this is what he said in a press conference today: "It's sad when you have a group of players growing, winning, and then you have to go."
  25. Love Ivanovic. I love how he has totally bought into Chelsea FC, if you know what I mean. He's an integral part of our club now and a strong voice in the squad. At Chelsea we have been so lucky to have a lot of players who just 'fit' and take the club to heart. Just like Cech, Drogba, Cole and obviously Terry and Lampard, I feel this about Ivanovic, Luiz, Mata too. It's weird to think Ivanovic has never played under Mourinho but he has the spirit and winning mentality that Jose put into the club and the original Mourinho players.
