Cavani-Torres swap deal
I really really hope we can sign Cavani. This is the signing we need. It's all right signing good young players with potential but you need balance in a squad, sometimes a club as big as Chelsea needs a statement of intent and that's what signing Cavani would be. Roman probably hoped that's what Torres would be but it hasn't worked out like that. Cavani and a strong dominant defensive signing along with the return of KDB, Courtois and Lukaku and Chelsea would be ready to win the EPL and challenge in Europe. Currently the squad is not good enough, as last season proved. We also need to get rid of some in order to free up wages: Ba, Mikel, Kakuta and Essien should be sold and Malouda, Benyoun, Fererra, Turnbull, Hilario have been released.

The Truth
We really don't have a 'fantastic squad', not when compared with our rivals. Read all the analysis and not just from the biased English media. Most commentators say our squad is unbalanced and not strong enough. We need a world class striker and a strong, dominant, defensive signing. Last season we only just made the top 4 and went out the CL in the grp stages, the Europa win was papering over the cracks. If we want Mou to stay and be successful, RA has to give him some top players as well.

The Truth
This is what I'm fearing. We are wasting big money, £20m on Schurrle, when what we need is a world class proven striker and a strong dominant defensive signing. I had set my heart on us getting Falcao but now he's not coming I thought we would get Cavani but that seems out of reach too. It's almost like RA has brought Mou back for us but he's not giving Jose the players to take us back to the top. Mou is the Special One but he needs good players too. All our rivals at home and abroad are strengthening, yet we are not, despite us struggling in the League and exiting the CL very early last season. This squad is not good enough without the two major signings I've mentioned we need.

Welcome André Schürrle *Official*
Do not understand this transfer AT ALL! I don't think Schurrle is that good. Compare him to Jesus Navas who City have bought for the same price. It's a JOKE!! Michael Emanelo is a joke, he doesn't know his arse from his elbow. Jose is the Special One, but he is no miracle worker and must be given the players to improve this squad, otherwise RA is undermining him from the start. Our squad desperately needs a world class PROVEN striker, like Cavani and a strong, dominant, defensive signing.

Thank You Mr Roman Abramovich
The Special One is back home where he belongs. Roman has once again come good for Chelsea fans and Chelsea FC. Although he never speaks, I feel this is his way of making it up to us for Benitez. We know he wanted Guardiola but after he signed for Munich and the fans were going mad over Rafa, Roman has understood and realised that the only way to unite the club was bringing back the man we trust and love: Jose Mourinho!! That alone shows Roman knows this club and knows the fans and what we want, he gets it and understands. People mock RA over the Torres situation but his only 'crime' was to pay £50m for a striker. At the time, don't forget, the team was not scoring goals and there is no way RA could've foreseen what would happen with Torres. Now we have the best manager in the world working with the best owner in world club football, Chelsea march forward!!

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Ha ha ha what a load of BS!! Is that the best they can do? LOL. Even if Jose had signed a 'pre-contract', it's just that, it's not final he could have walked away at any stage and gone to Man United. I can't wait for the day when Jose tells the press United tried to get him before Moyes but he turned them down for his one true LOVE Chelsea FC!! Have that! I don't care if we were Mou's second choice or 5th choice twice removed!! The Special One is home and holding up a Chelsea blue shirt!! That is all that needs to be said.....end of.- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Use this kind of stuff to unite us all behind the club and Mourinho, more than ever. Don't let them get to us. They want to put a dampener on it because Mou coming home is the best thing to happen to Chelsea FC for ages and now we could be the strongest club in England and of course the media don't want that. They will do their very best to poor sh*t on everything and undermine Jose just like they have with every other of our managers, but we fans don't have to stand for it!!- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
OMG, this is the best day ever. I just cannot wait till we can go to the Bridge and welcome the Special One HOME!!!! I really hope this marks the moment when Chelsea FC goes to an even higher level. Club, fans, players, manager and owner united as one, taking our fantastic club to new heights. We trust Mourinho, we know and he says 'he's one of us', he will fight for this club no matter what. Us fans need to step it up too, put all whats gone before behind us and support our team, club, manager and owner come what may. Even if there are times that will be tough, if we don't win or experience a blip, that's the time when we should support Mourinho and the club even more than ever. There is NO-ONE better than Mourinho, it's a simple as that!!- Benayoun Claims...
Disgusting, if true. I hope that if any Chelsea fan hears another being anti-semitic, we would call them out and not accept it. It's really bad that Benyoun says he has never experienced that anywhere else in England, in Spain or when playing for Israel. It reflects very very badly on Chelsea fans, which is unfair, because I'm positive the vast majority of us are against such vile hatred. Sadly it will be used to slur us all by Chelsea haters. I wish Benyoun all the best for the future.- A Journalists who actually "gets it"...
WOW a journalist who is actually speaking the truth and for once is not anti-Chelsea.... "Chelsea have United running scared - that's why they want to convince Platini that Roman's on the road to ruining football" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2332958/MARTIN-SAMUEL--THE-DEBATE-Platini-Manchester-United-Chelsea-financial-fair-play.html- Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
Must admit he's super HOT!! Although like him better with his longer blond hair and an alice band!- Who will eventually fill super Franks boots?
I would love Fabregas at Chelsea. There is not a better deep lying playmaker in world football IMO. He is being misused at Barca. FFS people would accept Rooney! When it comes to Lampard's heir apparent, I say look no further than JUAN MATA!!- Ivanovic to Monaco?
Can't imagine selling Ivanovic. For me he's really become a part of Chelsea. Some players really fit a club and just like Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Cech, Cole and now Mata, I feel the same is true of Ivanovic. He's come good at crucial times as well. He scored the goal against Napoli to take us into the QF of our CL win and he started cleared the ball out of Barca's box that Torres ran onto and sealed our place in Munich!! Even though he was suspended in Munich, he once again came good and won us the Europa Trophy.- Cavani-Torres swap deal
Ha! Forgot to add, Benitez fcuking hates us and would probably do anything to p1ss off us Chelsea fans!! He'd stop us getting Cavani just for spite. I noticed his first statement about getting the Napoli job was saying how 'special' and wonderful and passionate Napoli fans are......YAWN.........ZZZzzzzzzzzz!!- Chelsea in Indianapolis
Aww great!! Your parents had great taste to pick a Chelsea shirt :-) I always had a little soft spot for Chelsea but never really watched football (being a girl), apart from if my older brother was watching MOTD, I'd always want Chelsea to win!! Loved Zola and that FA Cup win and Cup Winners Cup was amazing but I was only 8 & 9 at the time!! I became hooked on CFC after the game at home against Barca, under Vialli, it was electric. Also football in England became more glamorous and cool for girls to like it as well :-) I'm 24 and men and women my age like football. Under Abramovich we've had some amazing, unbelievable times, the best has to be winning the CL against Bayern in Munich. But no matter what there will always be drama with Chelsea FC!!- Chelsea in Indianapolis
Fantastic! How did you become a Chelsea fan? Are Chelsea popular where you are? Have you ever been to a game at Stamford Bridge?- REALISTIC expectations for next season.....
Exactly how I feel, everything depends on who we sign this window. Like I originally put, this squad we have only just secured CL qualification in the final weeks and struggled badly in the CL. I feel we need a world class striker, Falcao was my dream but Cavani is the next best one, we also need a player in midfield who can make us dominate and control midfield, start attacks, defend and win balls etc. Jose is the Special One but he's not a miracle worker!!- REALISTIC expectations for next season.....
If Mou does come home, it's funny because for the first time in ages, us Chelsea fans can actually go into a season confident that the manager will be still be in a job at the end of the season, lol. Although I've no doubt the media will try their absolute hardest to cause sh*t and drama like they always do!!- Chelsea in Indianapolis
Are you English living there or American or another nationality?- Jose - Confirmed Manager by Rob Beasley
I know. Other clubs have their cheerleaders in the media, yet the only one who says he's a Chelsea fan is our harshest critic. But I think all of the media are anti-Chelsea.- REALISTIC expectations for next season.....
IF we get Mourinho back what are your realistic expectations for us next season? Not what you hope or want to happen but what you realistically think we will achieve? Considering the squad we have and the fact we only secured CL qualification in the last couple of weeks of last season, I think there is no question we need to improve the squad. The lack of goals from our strikers is the biggest issue for us but also we need to dominate games more instead of always allowing other teams onto us, like in the Europa Final. I think we could win the EPL just because of Jose, he knows how to win in England and the truth is the quality of the League is not actually that high anymore. In Europe however, I think we will struggle again. I don't think we will challenge TBH, not with our squad, it's not good enough when compared to other big clubs like Bayern, Barca, Real, PSG and maybe Monaco, especially not with the players all those clubs are reportedly buying this summer. We went out in the group stage last season and unless we improve with some world class signings, I doubt we will get past the last 16. So for me, winning the EPL and maybe the FA Cup or doing the domestic treble would be absolutely fantastic. I hope we can win the Super Cup at the second time of asking but Bayern are going to be even stronger once Gotze and Lewandowski join them......- Random Rumours
LOL It would KILL the bitter Goons hearts!!!!- Cavani-Torres swap deal
I would LOVE this to happen, sadly I can't see it. 1. Benitez knows Torres is not the player he was and never will be again. 2. Napoli could take £50m off City and buy Hernandez from United or take money plus Dzeko or money plus one of Real Madrid's strikers like Higuain. 3. Torres says he wants to stay at Chelsea and work with Mourinho. 4. That part of Italy is pretty dangerous, would Torres want to move his young family there? 5. Torres wages are very very high, I cannot see Napoli agreeing to it. - José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
