He played for Red Star 93 which is a French lower league team, not Red Star Belgrade! Red Star Belgrade did win the European Cup beating Marseille on pens , i think in 91.

Marseille won the European Cup in 93, but were stripped of it a few months later im sure.

Im not convinced he belongs on the list, not least because he played for Ireland!

I do feel I was cheated as the orringla quesiton I was set was for 6 players and I got 6 because I had Cascarino and that was not in my mates list so he upped it to 7.

Well Bill (the sad git at work) tried to win his dinner money back over the weekend and come up with an 8th ! .. I have already punched him but he may have done it.
