First day on this site; looks good - been a Chelsea fan since about 1963, had many a horseburger on the Fulham Road, silk scarf a bit faded and violet coloured now. Last 12 years have been a real joy as a true blue; long may our form continue!

Welcome mate,

the last few years have been surreal and certainly spoiled us in many ways. It's good to ahve someone on here who knows where we've come from!

Anyway, welcome and hope to see you post often

Know what you mean Geezer; we try to imagine it's not there. I'm from Borehamwood originally, which is close to Barnet, but we don't like to mention them either.

Family originate from West London, Dad North Kensington, Mum Paddington - they 'escaped' in the early fifties to the grandeur of Hertfordshire.

Went through hell at school as most from B/wood follow the Arse or Spuds, but not those of us with any class or charisma.

Welcome, SBB - good to see someone else on here who was around in the 60's, there's not many of us about ::clap2::

Welcome - another one to join the moaning old git brigade (BB and I are captain and vice captain)

Born in Edmonton and raised in Southgate for the first 20 years of my life so I know what you mean about the north london brigade. We then moved to Bedfordshire (Silsoe then Barton) before I set up home in a village in Northamptonshire where I'm still living 24 years later though I work in Hatfield for a company that used to be based in Borehamwood so you and I have a lot of ties without even knowing each other :346:

Used to work in Dunstable at a place called Cinram. Then I got moved back to my home town in Aylesbury not far from Dunst.

Anyway welcome to the shed mate.
