To be honest, I forgot I had posted the polls until KrazyTea posted on the those threads, but I thought it could be the right time to have the final vote. I've taken the top movie(or movies in case of a tie) from each poll and created a new final poll to determine the top ten movies of the current decade according to The Shed End. There are actually 12 movies on the list, but top-12 just doesn't sound as catchy. :)

IMPORTANT! You can vote for more than one movie, but please don't vote for more than three movies.

PS. Feel free to talk about the twelve movies that made the final poll. This was meant to be done as a sort of topic starter and the poll is just here to create a bit of conversation about the movies from last ten years.

I never wonder what the hell you're babbling about Maksimov - you always make perfect sense to me!

I voted for the Pianist, the Lord of the Rings and Pan's Labyrinth - in no particualr order.

I can't believe Shrek has as mnay votes as the Pianist - are we allowing Primary School children to vote?????????

No, that was the day we got invaded by a load of manc fans who didn't know the difference between Rooney and Shrek.

I went with:

Pan's Labyrinth - just loved that movie.

Lord of the Rings - wonderful and it was actually a really good adaptation from the book (not often that we see that).

Shaun of the Dead - seen it atleast 10 times and it still makes me laugh.

Oops, I voted for 5 movies. Sorry Maksimov!

Lord Of The Rings, is the only movie that I have liked more than the book it was adapted from.

I absolutely love that fireworks scene.

I hadn't read the thread and just voted straight away, I was one click away from voting for the same 3 films as you, moi! But, I hesitated, and the youngster inside me changed it to Donnie Darko.

Donnie Darko - Totally original and utterly brilliant.

Lord Of The Rings - No question, was obviously going to be chosen. Peter Jackson is a genius, no other word for it.

Pan's Labyrinth - My favourite film of all time.
