Remember bunking school to make sure I got it on day of release and ensure got the limited live EP that came with it. That helped it go straight in at No.1 - first band to achieve that since Slade some years earlier.

And then Weller appearing on that weeks TOTP wearing a Heinz Tomato Soup apron (BBC making sure he wore it back to front so no advertising) and me trying to get my mum to buy such an apron so I could wear it when playing air guitar in my bedroom!!
