Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals

So to resurrect this thread...

An unchanged Tottenham have Man City with their pants down at the moment. Joe Hart has kept them in the game and City have been pretty awful. 41 minutes gone and it's still 0-0.

Blackpool is currently up 3-0 against Wigan..not a bad start to the season for them I guess

I have no idea how this is happening. Brett Ormerod just came on if you want an idea of the level Blackpool are at.

Just in case anyone had forgotten how much better life is when the Pemiership is back in business...

Aston Villa 3 Waltzer Operators 0

Apart from a ten minute stretch they've been ripped to shreds by Villa. Relegation zone here they come ::clap2::

Blackpool up 4-0 with a ridiculous goal.

Jason Euell on.

In other news Millwall are 4-0 up against Hull, and Scott Sinclair's new club Swansea are up 4-0 against Preston.

Glad to hear about West Ham. I was mildly concerned that they might be reasonably decent this season, but good to know they're not.

No they aren't. Put your concerns to rest. I'm stuck watching this awful game and it is shocking how unprepared they are. Amazingly the normally affable Avram Grant has a scowl on his face.

Villa just hit the post for the second time. Mike Dean denied a sure penalty actually. Robert Green looks awful. 3-0 is very generous for West Ham, this one should be 5 or 6. Albrighton is dominating for Villa he looks like a very useful player.

Can anyone catch Blackpool atop the table or should we just award them the trophy now?

Obviously Blackpool are the story of the day, but Villa have been absolutely fantastic. Some relentless attacking by them.

Milner is off to a big applause. Downing, Young and this new guy Albrighton look phenomenal.

Surprise surprise...fulham v bolton 0-0

I am blown away with Blackpool though. Recently, promoted teams have surged at home at the start of the season, but struggle away. 4-0 away not a bad effort.

mancini takes kolarov off at ht... must be great for ur confidence if u get subbed at HT in ur first league match

Think he picked up a knock, was apparently playing well before half time.

Villa were team of the day imo, played brilliantly, really hope Milner stays, next gerrard/lampard

about to watch liverpool v arsenal, disgusting to see joey in a red shirt.

And that f**king ynwa song makes me want throw up.

I've muted the sound because of that.

Cole in the starting line-up. Let's not call him Joey anymore.

It is sickening isn't it?
