Guest Sindre Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 From Dan Levene`s twitter account: Essien was limping quite badly post-match, but players can recover quickly. Nothing official yet - more news later in the week. Let`s just pray that he is ready for the Arsenal-game. Who starts if not? Ramires is not ready for the pace of the EPL yet as he had all the time in the world on the ball in Portugal, and besides Mikel and him we really don`t have any senior midfielders left do we? Cross fingers...
PloKoon13 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 On the bright side, apparently Fabianski is starting the Arsenal game.
ethicalstrategy Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I've moved this to rumours, as that is what it is. I've also amended the title to give people a clue as to what the thread is about.
dkw Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Look at eth throwing his mod powers around, its gone to his bloody head. :D
yorkleyblue Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 careful, dicky, or he'll be correcting your spelling, too!
Spiller86 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) I'm sure I speak for the collective when I say let this be a bit of post match soreness or better yet nothing at all Edited September 29, 2010 by Spiller86
Mikstaw Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I hope he's fit. I wouldn't like to see Essien injured anymore!
Barry Bridges Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Hopefully we will not have to dredge up the "Worried about playing Essien to much thread". Any who, as long as we have Drogba we should be fine! Also I think Ramirez might play a lot better against Arsenal than other EPL teams as they are not as physical and will likely give up more space. Also, they are without a lot of their best players, the loss of Essien is significant but I think we should still be able to field a stronger team considering who is available for who.
ethicalstrategy Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 No mention of any injury to Essien on Chelsea TV tonight.
Hutch Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I'd never heard of Dan Levene so had a quick look round. Found the blog you refer to here: BluesChronicle and it turns out the comment you quote was made by a certain asaCFC from Bangkok...
Spiller86 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 So we're all worked up over nothing Hutch?
Hutch Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Looks that way. Unless asaCFC knows something nobody else knows.
