There have been some rumours about Kakuta going out on loan in Jan. Who thinks this is a good idea? I feel that if he isn't going to get regular chances he should go out on loan. This kid IS is huge talent. This may be a stretch, but I compare him to Eden Hazard. Now before people go off on me, hear me out. Eden Hazard is 19 right now and already started 58 games and subbed in 30 more games. He played a full season as a 17 year old. In his first full season, when he played in 30 games he scored 4 goals and had 1 assist. This is the kind of production that Kakuta could have done in 30 games, I feel. I also think if Kakuta would have been in that the French League he would have been given more chances at an earlier age. Thats the downfall for coming to such a great club like Chelsea, limited chances. He needs chances to play

I thought Hazard was more of a pure winger/speed merchant on the outside? I see Kakuta's future role as that of a no. 10, depending on the system.

Anyway, unless we are getting 2 or 3 new faces in january, and by that I mean senior players who would slot straight into the starting 11 or the bench, it would be folly to ship him out.

Eventually, I think he could do with an extended loan spell.

I just think he needs to play as much as possible. I love that he is at Chelsea, but I can't help wonder how much playing time he would get in a league that isn't the PL. I'm sure he would have a full season under his belt by now in a less tough league.

I think a loan spell could be huegly beneficial to him, half a season of regular playing time in the premier league will prepare him much better for the future rather than a handul of cameo's. Look at what jack wilsheres stint at bolton did for him.

I thought when we parted with our two main flair players in the summer (Joe & Deco) it was a sign that we were going to give Kakuta a fair bit of game time. That hasn't materialised and it's a shame but to be honest, when he has played he has looked like a little boy lost - a bit reminiscent of SWP on a bad day.

Don't always agree with loans and in our case very few have made it back and become established, but in Kakuta's case I think it might be just what he needs. I would send him to a decent Championship side and hope he gets to play every week.

Deco and Joe Cole were used in creating positions, which is their natural position. Kakuta is also a creator/playmaker. It is very hard for a player like that to have a huge impact when playing on the wing all the time. He needs to play in the middle, behind the strikers where he can pass and create. That is the reason I dislike the 4-3-3 so much. We have area for creativity. The only playmaking passes come from the defensive midfielder, whether it is Mikel or Josh. And in my opinion, that is too far back to be successful.

YES to the loan idea...........but not Championship - he would be physically challenged (literally), so I would let him go to Wigan or maybe Baggies as they play it the right way and he could fit in

BUT, from what I have seen, not sure he has it in him - not writing him off at all, but he looks naive, lightweight, confused and predictable in wide role in 433 - so agree wiv previous point - he needs to have playmaker role in a no. 10 at top of the diamond

this season so far he hasn't pushed on at all has he

so a loan best bet

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't really want him playing against us. He's good enough to be a part of our squad already, he just needs more games so he can really assert his character and his style of play on his position in the team. I'd have him at least on par with Sturridge in the pecking order, if not even level with Kalou.

Carlo needs to give him enough chances to stake his claim .. certainly we must not allow him to leave us for free ... We got too far to get him ... so never blow it easily ...

Sign him to a long deal and send him on loan to a PL side .. Preferably under Di matteo or owen coyle or Martinez ...

I don't think he is Premiership standard yet so I don't think a loan to another Ptemiership club would be of great value as he wouldn't get sufficient game time. I think he would need to drop a league if he went out on loan.

Sorry to say this gents, but he is available for anyone to steal come January as he hasn't signed a new deal yet. Not much point sending him out on loan, if we do I shan't think he'll be here next season.

If we can get him to agree to a new deal before Jan. then sure, and I think he would do well to go back to the Championship and let them kick lumps out of him for six months, toughen him up a bit. But it'll be also useful for him to gain some confidence, Sinclair looks like Robben down there this season, surely Gael would tear some big holes in the defences as well.

However, if there is no new deal before then he should be kept here and we should attempt to play him to at least show somewhat that he has a future here. He has been hyped up so much, surely we should be doing our best to hold onto his talent. After all the trouble would be a shame to see him leave on a free.
