Posted December 30, 201014 yr It looked to me that Paul Clement pushed him back because he was having a pop at someone.
December 30, 201014 yr Ehhh? I didnt get that sense at all. I thought he shook hands with carlo when he first ran up, and then gestured to someone.....maybe someone on the bench, but "Lets go" rather than "take that" sort of way. To me it looked like Clemenet was hugging, rather than holding him back. The first thing Malouda did was run at DD for setting him up, and DD promptly ignored him to get the ball out of the back of the net. If Malouda was looking to stick it to someone I think that, rather than a celebration, would have been first on his mind

Glad it wasn't aimed at Carlo or Clement, just wonder where Emanalo was.
December 30, 201014 yr looked more to me that he was trying to get the team fired up! And that Clement was holding him back incase he was carded for excessive celebration

And that Clement was holding him back incase he was carded for excessive celebration i thought the same mad mac,he was trying to get the team fired up, and if you love chelsea that much and going through a bad patch and you score i would do the same !!
December 31, 201014 yr Whispers that Emelamanaionomanamano suggested that Malouda should be subbed at halftime. Only thing was that he said this in front of everyone. Certainly looked like he might be pointing him out. And before anyone blasts Eminemanolo, could that have been the fire Malouda needed? A stroke of genius from Emers...Emotic...the coach?

That's easy for you to say
December 31, 201014 yr Must admit when I saw it I thought Malouda was having a particular go at someone rather than it being an attempt to fire the team up. Seemed to me it was either aimed at someone in the backroom team or sitting near the dugout.
December 31, 201014 yr I just thought he wanted to celebrate with the people on the bench  Still, if the papers haven't written anything about this by now there's nothing to it. If there would have been any hint at all of anger or something then they would have written about it by now.
December 31, 201014 yr Here is what I found. Mind that this is just another opinion on an ambiguous few seconds of what we saw. Didier Drogba looked miles offside as he was found by Michael Essien's through ball on 61 minutes. Linesman Darren Cann kept his flag down.Drogba raced clear and squared the ball for Florent Malouda to tap into an empty net. Cue pandemonium. The Bolton players remonstrated with Cann and refused to calm down. TV replays, however showed Drogba to be marginally on. Malouda's celebration, meanwhile, said it all. Wild and impetuous, he raced to the Blues' bench, hugged anyone that threw an arm around him then punched the air. A surprisingly even take by the mirror, not at all what I have come to expect from them: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Chelsea-1-0-Bolton-Daily-Mirror-match-report-Florent-Malouda-saves-Carlo-Ancelotti-from-the-Blues-boo-boys-article660335.html
