Just a guess, but when I started going regular the schoolboy gate was always half the adult price, and in 71/2 it was 15p to get in the Shed, but only the decimal price is displayed and in my first season there was a dual display of both imperial and metric prices, so maybe 72/3.

Found the picture the other day. Unfortunately I forgot to take a note of the year. Looking again at the pictures and the clothes people are wearing, I suspect early seventies.

'The rain was lashing down producing Stamford Bridge’s lowest gate of the season so far (11,048) and the pitch quickly became a quagmire. '

'There were mistakes galore on both sides so it was no surprise a high scoring game ensued. The two sides ended up fighting out a 3-3 draw!'

Great picture of my best ever CFC goal ,never the most important but simply the best .All from a Plymouth corner and Ray cleared the corner to the left and we broke ,I think Gary Locke whizzed down the wing and crossed it and Ray had run the length of the pitch and scored with the diving header in the above picture... well that’s how I remember it

A 1-1 draw away at Coventry.   In front of  8,721 spectators    Our scorer: Jerry Murphy in the 36th min,.

 Saturday, 7th Dec 1996 at 3pm.  A 2-2 draw with Everton at The Bridge.  

The first Chelsea goal for the 'Wee Magician' Gianfranco Zola.   He scored it in the 12th min.   Gianluca Vialli scored our other goal in the 55th min.  A crowd of  28,418  saw it.
