Seen other clubs doing this and it seems like a good idea to track where everyone ends up going. I'm shamelessly stealing the raw data from what the City fans have collected. If we have some kind of sticky function that'd be useful mods.

I missed quite a few of those european ones as well, nice one.

Can we make a plea to keep this thread purely DONE DEALS as opposed to including the hundreds and hundreds of rumours that do the rounds.

Yep thats the idea, only going to update it when a club announces a deal officially. That way, come the end of the transfer window we'll know everything our domestic and European rivals have been up to pretty clearly.

Wow. For a team that struggled this year and that don't really have the money to rebuild, Villa have let a lot of players leave...

What concerns me is these mysterious players going into Arsenal from Barca's youth academy. Last time I saw that we had Fabregas on our hands. Why aren't we raiding them?

Certainly wouldn't mind us pinching that Thiago Alcantara bloke - he looks quality

Apparantly those particular players have a phobia of trophies.

borini to parma.

what a pointless excerise loaning him out had turned out to be then. what the f**k is our club playing at by keeping players, loaning them out all over the place and then just watching them leave for nothing.

this transfer really dissapoints me

Sad how Eidur's career has gone downhill so fast (lowest point being his loan at Sp*rs obviously). Still only 32 too. If we could just whip him into shape..

I loved Eidur, was my favourite player at one point. I know its petty, but I still can't get over him celebrating scoring against us. Perhaps he can join Bridge somewhere. Perhaps West Ham.

I don't see anything wrong with this deal really. He wanted to return to Italy and we let him go. Sure we could have tried to get money for him, but I doubt it would have been that much, so instead we let him go for nothing to make sure he could go to where he wanted to go.

This deal reminded me a lot of the deal with Crespo.

To add to that, he wasn't going to make our first team any time soon and refused to sign a contract extension - not much the club could really do to stop him leaving.

Gem, the Eidur celebration I think was due to the day before on Jose's press conference, where he referred to Eidur now suddenly learning to dive since joining Barca. Saying that though, when he was on the pundit panel last season when we played Bolton, he made no reference to his playing days really with Chelsea. Whether it was a Sky thing to bring him as an ex Bolton player I'm not too sure. I think there is some bitterness there somewhere, but while he is still playing, Chelsea will always be a rival.

Add Marveaux to that list of Newcastle signings as well.

I tell you what, it looks like madness letting Kevin Nolan go and it probably is. But they've made some good signings. With the addition of Cabaye and Marveaux coupled with the return of Ben Arfa they've a decent midfield rotation. Probably one as good as Spuds if we pinch Modric off them. Ba is a solid signing as well.

I remember Marveaux was linked to us once or twice. I'm interested to see how he turns out.
