Midland blue Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Heya fellow blues, just wondering if any of you guys know the best places to watch this final in Munich will be? Does anyone know if there will be any big screens up? We could do with meetin up and turning a little piece of Munich Chelsea blue!
tremberz90 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Best place to watch the game in Munich? The Allianz Arena. I'm pretty sure everywhere will be packed with Bayern fans, after all it is their city. I was wondering that, there's gonna be so many of them lol.
Raycurtiscfc Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Myself and friend just booked our travel and hotel but without a ticket we need to find somewhere in advance where there will b Chelsea fans during the game. Any ideas let me knw an I will let you know too
Carshalton Blue Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I heard there was going to be a fans park area with screens ect to watch it?
mikey2004 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Im sure Uefa will set up fanzones for supporters of each team
bennyboy1976 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Hope so, i think there will be at least 5k of us without tickets!!
General Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) Tickets on internet going for 790 quid plus 112 booking fee - a lot, if i was over in London still defo up for that Would cost me $ 3800 for ticket & flight & hotel, so think I am gonna stay put in LA and maybe buy a new 50 " LCD telly to watch it on instead just seen the Thomas Cook trips for members - have the old man and brother on the case, could be up for it so F the telly Edited April 26, 2012 by General
Belgian_SW6_Lover Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I hope the uefa or Chelsea will build a Chelsea zone with big screen in munich! It is their own foul that there will be thousand of chelsea fans without ticket in munich. So they creat big problems by selling a small amount to the fans. Im pretty sure,if there is no "zone" for the chelsea fans that muchen will become a warzone. Imagine all the bayern fans in their own City ,drunk and heated and then the Chelsea blues enter the city of munich. And what after the game ,when the emotions are on top! Not a good feeling about it! But I hope it can be a good lesson for te uefa
bennyboy1976 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 For those of us without tickets, whatever you do don't go to the festival see link. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2012/final/championsfestival/index.html It is only open until kick off then you would have to find somewhere else to watch the match..

Fast Eddie Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Best place to watch the game in Munich? The Allianz Arena. Agree again, the experience at games like these is amplified x10,000 when you're there. It pays to be a member if poss and accrue loyalty points...

It pays to be a member if poss and accrue loyalty points... I'm a member, been to a fair number of games this season, but still have no chance of a ticket, no point in me being a season ticket holder (I work most Saturdays) so how are people like me supposed to get a ticket? Both UEFA and the FA need to look into their cup final ticketing policies, they are a feild day for touts and yet again its the real fan that gets fleeced!

I applied for CL tickets for last years final at Wembley via the lottery thing and bought two. When Chels didn't reach it I sold them to an agent for nigh on £1,000 who sold them on as part of a hospitality/meal package, no doubt to a couple of non-supporting, non-singing nobs. I also notice that Wembley has won the right to host CL final for 2013.
bennyboy1976 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 How many do you all think will be travelling without tickets?
Andreas Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 UEFA are selling tickets for fans without match tickets to watch the game at the olympic stadium on a big screen, 65k seats.

Andreas Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Some info here: http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/04/27/exclusive-uefa-to-sell-65000-new-munich-stadium-tickets-for-bayern-chelsea-270402/
bennyboy1976 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Some info here: http://www.sportingi...chelsea-270402/ Superb, thanks mate.
oldbloke Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Some info here: http://www.sportingi...chelsea-270402/ That doesn't seem to be the case. It's not on sale on the website as suggested in the article. There is a Champions League festival in the Olympic Stadium up until 8pm that day, according to their website. I can't see how they would work that logistically - ie, get all the people who were there for the free stuff out by 8pm and then 65,000 paying people in by kick-off by 8:45pm CET.
cfc4747 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 We are going without tickets. We will be fine, there will be loads of us without tickets. Just gotta get organised where we can all meet up Friday and Saturday. The locals wont really surface until Saturday afternoon and we should be able to create a piece of blue somewhere.

bennyboy1976 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The tickets are on sale here: http://www.muenchent...Final 2012.html It's all in German, how do you sort this out?
Andreas Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I reckon it will be on an English site soon, thats all I could find for now though :P thought I read somewhere that you can buy them on site as well once there
Zola Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 (edited) Anyone going without tickets? I am starting to look into it. Flights are already price at £250 so maybe its time for an epic drive. I don't care about not getting a ticket, happy to watch it at a big screen or whatever. I want to go and party in the big city, hopefully watch our beloved blues lift the cup and then drink all the beer in Germany. Edited April 27, 2012 by Zola
blueryan Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Hi, I'm new to the forums... Theres 3 of us heading over on Saturday coming back on Sunday morning, using combo of flights and train, comes to about £280 total, not going to bother with a hotel. Hope theres a place everyone can arrange to meet in Munich and turn blue, pretty much going out there not expecting to get a ticket. KTBFFH
