Not only that but Heynckes basically said "he'll have to learn to live with it" in his post match presser, rather than defending him.

Van Bommel stood up for him in an interview after the game. Kieft en van Basten said that it's a normal reaction and we shouldn't make a fuss about it. That's a way to back your own players isn't it? Marco van Basten had a fan give a ban from the stadium for callin him a "pancake". Then van Marwijk called it a disgrace as well and they both pulled back. They were two great players but bad personalitys

Each time Robben gets the ball he's booed by the Bayern fans.

That's a bloody shame  Still have a lot of respect for that guy.

Can you imagine booing JT after Moscow? I've never booed one of our own in

all me life.

Exactly Seven Times. And that after he just signed another three year contract. I can't imagine he wants to stay at Bayern. Also after Heynckes telling the press he will just have to live with it. Robben didn't want to come in front of the camera after the game.

I'd say there's a fair bit of difference between booing someone like Terry, who will sacrifice his health for the good of the team, and Robben, who could break a nail and miss a month. I wouldn't boo one of our players either, but that doesn't mean I don't understand why someone else might feel differently. Robben was awful against us, at times I'd even describe his play as cowardly, and I've never found him to be likable as an individual. So yeah, I get where Bayern's fans are coming from, even if I personally wouldn't conduct myself in that manner.

Seeing as how there is no seperate thread for the game, Holland just played a friendly with yours truly's Bulgaria. AND WE WOOOOOOON!

A team composed of very average players, but with excellent organization and commitment. I'm over the moon, I expected we'd play well, but not to win. A very proud day for the Bulgarian team!

Of course, this was a friendly and plenty of changes, but the new national manager has completely turned things around. I wish the Dutch all the best in the Euros, a great team and always one of my favourites.

Congratulations! Just out of curiosity... How did the Dutch perform?

They were not bad, but didn't really create as many chances as I thought they would and were very wasteful with the few marvelous chances they did create. Van Persie was used as a winger in favour of Huntelaar and it didn't work. Their goal came from a deep pass to van Persie who had escaped offside from the wing.

There were plenty of changes in the Dutch team, but even with their starting eleven they looked laboured and without rhythm, constantly late for passes and a few mistakes in possession. I suppose a great deal of creadit is due to our team, but Holland have a lot of work to do.

Thanks for the analysis. Just wanted to know because I'll probably take part in this Euro 2012 fantasy footy thing.
