Early days still, but if we win the Club World Cup should we replace the now defunked "Champions of Europe" chant with "Champions of the World"?

If I weren't in the middle of a BA degree I'd be over there in Japan to watch the tournament.

That neck-of-the-woods is familiar stomping ground for me anyway; spent a good 6 years living between Seoul, Australia, and New Zealand. :biggrin:

Why not?....we could then play Queen's 'We are the Champions' at all the remaining home games.

 

It would raise a (much needed) smile wouldn't it.

Well if the San Franciso Giants can be the 'World' Series Champions' by only playing teams within the States, why can't we be 'Champions of the World'...just a thought :egyptian:

Yes of course we would be Champions of the world. Every other club has used this title when they have won it so i don't see why we shouldn't if we also win it.

 

Just as long as we don't overuse it. I recall loads of Barcelona fans being rather obnoxious about it. Though they're always obnoxious.
