Just start out by saying that I checked with Loz if it was legit to start this thread and he said it was fine.

 

I love writing about Chelsea, always have and a few years ago even wrote a few season reviews for the history part of this site http://www.theshedend.com/topic/12190-a-chelsea-history-2006-2009/ so recently I finally caved and started my own blog.

I know this is a rather shameless plug but its pretty new and I would love a bit more traffic through it. Also hope the fact that I am a regular poster on this site and not just someone joining up to promote their page makes this a bit better!!

 

Fair warning I am quite a bit more accepting of Benitez than many people on here. My latest post is on our transfer targets so have a read and let me know what you think and if you like the articles then please subscribe!!

Read all the posts and they mostly echo my sentiments, however I would not say we've improved under Rafa, we've had some good performances but we've also had some horrendous matches, and i'd wait a few months to see if we become more consistent before I make a judgement on that.

We've won 1 out of 4 PL games under Rafa. What an improvement that is!

Its all about context. We have won 1 out of 4 prem matches but we have won four of our last five matches. I accept that the quality of opposition hasnt been high but we have still had to go out and beat them and we have done it with some style.

 

Please don't get me wrong I am far from pro-Benitez but at this stage I am more accepting of the fact that he is our manager than a lot of Chelsea fans. It is still far too early to be commenting on any real improvements but I think the team is playing in an organised fashion and we still have the capabilities of turning on the style and putting the ball in the net. If we beat Villa today then yes we had the big roadbump of not winning the CWC but that is some really good momentum that we will have. 

We could win everything there is to win, including Strictly Come Prancing, and I still wouldn't accept that man as worthy to be the manager of Chelsea.
