Canvassing the opposition in advance

Featured Replies

Threads to canvass opposition fans opinions (in the same way walker did for the Everton forum) seem to be pretty popular on other forums.

Is there much appetite for us doing that in advance of games?  Given QPR is our next game it is probably pointless kicking it off for that one as we will probably get reported to the police for something we are claimed to have said!  However would anyone be keen to volunteer a scouting mission for the Southampton match?

Cheers mate

Job is yours.  Up to you if you want to come up with the questions or want some help with them.  The ones in the recent Everton thread are a pretty decent framework.

When you find the Southampton forum maybe worth contacting the administrators before posting to avoid any possible aggro.

Cheers

Loz

No problem. I'll probably just use the Everton questions but alter them for Southampton. I presume the game is next weekend? I can't find the date anywhere. If it is next weekend I'll probably start it up now.

Edit: Wait, now I'm really confused. Is it the FA cup third round game on the 5th?

Yes

Omnidroid: So, what do you think your chances are playing away from home at Stamford Bridge where you got beaten 6-1 during your last visit. Oh, there's also that little factoid that Chelsea have recently spanked your companions-in-distress Aston Villa 8-0 there and have just beaten Everton at Goodison Park.

QPR: *Whimper*

Found two Southampton forums. One is a forum where you have to wait for an admin to confirm you and the other one is one that's had 7 members and 420 guests visit in the last 24 hours. I think I know which one I'll be choosing :laugh2:

No, it's a good idea, do it properly mate.

However, I think you should go on a QPR forum, and for that one we should all be allowed to submit questions.

Now that would really be hilarious.

I'm up for that. I'm in hysterics just thinking about it :laugh2:

Erm - but do we really want to make the Shed End look rawkish?

Edit: sorry, that was in reply to something back on the previous page

Are you starting to suspect that Jose Bosingwa is a Chelsea-plant with a mission to prevent your club from attaining Premier League glory? Or are you still in denial that you really belong here anyway?
