Just got to see the highlights .

I never knew Walcott was playing until his name was mentioned towards the end . I suppose 1 mention is better than none at all.

I watched the game with a mate of mine (gooner) and must say it was quite entertaining (not least cos I had a fiver on 2-2) Tottenham started really strong and to be honest if they had not have lost Berbatov and Brought on Keane Changing the system in the process I think they could have won it by a margin,

That said Arsenal did show a lot of bottle and got back in well, should be a good final although Arsenal are not there yet it would make a good game, a good game to show everyone we are back and mean to win everything possible.

Walcott was pretty anonymous most of the game and oddly although I rate him Toure in the first half looked crap.

I thought Lennon and Malbronque played well for the Spuds.

A final against Arsenal would be a 'We Can't Win' situation.

I firmly believe Wenger would stick to his policy of playing a large number of youth players and as a result we either:

1. Win handsomely but the media belittle the win on the grounds of the team Arsenal put out

2. Win but only marginally in which case the media make a meal of the fact we struggled to beat Arsenal reserves

3. Lose in which case we are mocked by all corners.

I would rather Spuds went through so as to avoid the above scenarios.

The Media will slaughter us if we win the CL and the Prem icon_wink.gif

I dont really care anymore and although Wenger probobly will send out the youngsters (although a lot of them are 1st team players -Hleb,Fabregas,Toure,Eboue, etc) It will still bother the fans to be beaten and they will be cursing us getting another trophy,

I watched the match tonight with a good mate who is a gooner and the smugness was there for all to see.

Media or not I would like to rub their noses in it icon_lol.gif

I think Wenger will play with the best boys and it`ll be a tough one.

IF we wanna win then we must do our best. (What a pity to lose in a final)

Nothing is certain in football, but you'd have to say it looks like Spurs have blown their chance so it looks like the Gooners again in the final.

Shame that, as I really fancied a Chelsea v Spurs final.

Been listening to Talk Sport this evening and blimey I thought us Chelsea fans moaned a lot and were pessimistic. We've got nothing on Spurs fans. They all think the tie is already over and most of them seem to want Jol out!!!

Gooners it is then.

Shame, as I think Us v Spurs would have been good and we've played the Gooners so many times in cups and that over recent years.

Cup wise, we owe them one - whatever team they decide to put out.
