from what i understand while searching the web in order to procrastinate from finals revision, chelsea have released: Benayoun, Malouda, Ferreira, Hilario and Turnbull among others. 

 

1) is this true? (the official chelsea website still have them as part of the first team squad) and if so...

 

2) thank god yossi is no longer able to be a hindrance to our team every time he comes on for one of his useless 20 min cameos (granted it was rafa who was instigating it but still) 

 

3) although Malouda hasnt featured much of late, its a bit sad he is going without a proper send off. he has been an important player for us, especially in the ancelotti era. 

 

3) what does this mean GK wise for us. i know we have Courtois and Cech, but neither will want to be 2nd keeper. So are they planning on bringing  Delac, Blackman or Walker up from the under 21s or is there a keeper chelsea are looking to sign to be 2nd choice?? 

 

i would must prefer one of the boys be brought through but this hasnt been the way chelsea seem to operate as of late (bar a few exceptions of course)

They are probably going to be released, Ferriera is a definite really, judging by the lsat day of the season. The club wouldn't release it yet because they are still under contract until the end of this month, have another look at the website on 1st July at it might well say we are letting them go.

Reading through that squad list makes me very happy and the thought of Mourinho commanding it makes me very excited. I can't remember the last time I was looking forward to the beginning of a season this much.
