Former BBC reporter has recently passed away, nothing better (or worse) than hearing him read out the results of the weekend in such a tone where you could tell whether your team has won or lost. RIP James.

I seem to remember a sketch show (maybe the Two Ronnies) doing a skit on his style, but the results being the opposite. Very much part of my Saturday afternoons in my youth,,, after the wrestling :)

And when it was a draw, you could tell as soon as he started to say the name of the second team!  I can hear his voice in my head right now!  Rest In Peace, JAG!
