Remy loan to Besiktas !?

Featured Replies

I think it is all up to Remy and his wishes. I can believe his frustration being behind Costa and now Falcao's come in as well. Can't blame him really. If he decides he wants to be in a brilliant group that can win trophies he should stay.

Can completely understand why he would want to leave. He is far too good to be sitting on the bench, but unfortinately for him, so too is costa.

begs the question, why did he come here in the first place if he knew it was more likely than not that he would be, at best, second choice?

seems an odd one for me when players sign knowing full well that their minutes are likely to be restricted, and then want to move on because they are not getting enough minutes.

would love to see Jose using remy more and rotating the squad but we know in reality that if Costa is fit then Costa plays. simple as that. Anyone who signs must also surely be aware of that, which ultimately limits our options for signing a top quality replacement. not many world class players would be happy to sit on the bench.

Our squad takes a hammering if remy leaves in my opinion. sincerely hope that if it does happen then we have an adequate replacement lined up, and not just f**king Falcao.

Bang on.

Maybe Remy is a teamplayer and likes moments like these...post-811-143678017837_thumb.jpg

perhaps but as a proven international heading towards the peak of his career you'd have to imagine he would want regular minutes

Drogba has been seeking more opportunities as he still thinks he has more to give. I wouldn't blame remy for wanting to move on for regular playing time as he has consistently proven himself to be a reliable option and came up with important goals for us last season. Jose just didn't seem to want to rotate him at all, it must be frustrating

I want him to stay though. Just want to see him playing more often

Drogba probably saw he don't want to stand in anyones way because he loves the club.

I know it must be hard for Remy as he is a very good striker. Hope he decides to stay.

Same here mate. hope so too. Just feel he is too good to be a bench warmer and he probably knows that he was not given a fair crack of the whip last season

let's hope it works out

I have never understood comments like "why would he go there to sit on the bench" e.t.c

These guys are professional athletes. It's their ambition and self belief that got them to where they are. Remy might well of thought he could go to Chelsea and prove he should start ahead of Costa.... And why shouldn't he?

i'd guess that he is desperate to get in the French squad for the Euros in his home country and that would be a big factor in his decision. Would he have a better chance of making the squad by playing every week in Turkey/mid-table PL club or staying with Chelsea and getting less game time?
