Yes rumours about this have been intensifying today but if he does leave I'd like to see us stick with Bamford. It would be a challenge for the young kid but one I'm sure he would relish in if given the opportunity to be the third choice striker.

 

Obviously this means more pressure will be Falcao as a result. Personally I like Remy and I'd like to see him stay as the second striker but I don't think he was too happy playing as third choice behind Costa and Drogba last season.

Not only would it be a strange move for him but for us aswell, if we go in with Costa and Falcao we leave ourselves lacking in depth

Loan out a quality striker in the prime of his career to play a young striker unproven in top tier football or an even younger attacking midfielder out of position.

I said this months ago, Remy must have annoyed Jose, I suspect Remy got in Jose face when Costa got injured and that Remy hasn't backed down.

Costa-Falcao-Bamford then..there is only one good pair of hamstrings and or ligaments in that trio...Remy is an excellent striker. I'd actually be happy him as a starter in some games....well we don't know the whole story so..

He's also prone to injury, so risking him alongside costa then loaning out bamford and/or traore would be crazy. If we're in a situation like last season where we're without both costa and remy due to injury, then we only have falcao to rely on as a main forward.

I really don't believe this rumour, it just doest make any sense what so ever.

you can't write him off just because of his age; he has proved he is a dangerous player in that position. one thing with remy is, he doesn't work that hard off the ball, whether that is due to varying fitness reasons, i don't know, but someone like bamford or traore will also work their socks off when off the ball. there is a chance that that jose is looking at it like that. i don't want to see remy go and, ideally it would be better to have 4 strikers than 3, but it's not any of our decisions what happens.

falcao has only been in the league for one season and didn't play much at all; remy has been in this league for many years now and has had time to adjust. it is unfair to judge falcao on one below par season with an unsettled, rather poor utd side. 

Why loan him? If he is going just sell him and make a profit on him from last year. A loan has zero benefit to us.

What a stupid rumour. What is the point a loan even? I think we can get atleast 17mil for such as a good striker as he is -- especially when you consider how inflated the market has been.
