Posted January 21, 20169 yr The landlady of my local, 5 minute cab to the stadium, told me tonight that she'd welcome any well behaved Blues to come and have a pre match drink or several, from 11am onwards. PM me if interested.
January 23, 20169 yr Got a couple of mates who know touts etc. Chelsea here Chelsea there Chelsea my age can't wait. Get to our age and the days of getting your pals together and not in front of a pub t.v. almost welling up.
January 23, 20169 yr Author Dipped out on a ticket but still hoping to go. In the same boat mate, very good football pub though as the whole back wall is a natural screen for the projection.

If word here in MK is anything to go by mate it could be a bit like Highbury in 84 as far as Chelsea in all parts of the ground go.

January 24, 20169 yr Author I was hoping to get tickets in their end mate but apparently you need a MK post code? Â I'm sure your ok in that sense... Couldn't tell you, I'm waiting on a mate who offered me one if he can get them. Not too fussed if I don't, I hate the fact that the Dons exist, still use Wimbledon's nickname and if asked I'd still say my local team is Northampton or Luton.

Not too fussed if I don't, I hate the fact that the Dons exist, still use Wimbledon's nickname and if asked I'd still say my local team is Northampton or Luton. AFC Wimbledon are just as bad, took over the freehold at Kingstonian and now have sold the ground leaving poor old Kingstonian without a home. Really ironic when you think about the AFC fans moaning about MK Dons
January 25, 20169 yr MK Blue, i'm sorted for a ticket now thanks to a mate, we fancy a pub crawl en route to the ground where's the best place to get off at, Milton Keynes or Bletchley?
January 25, 20169 yr Author MK Blue, i'm sorted for a ticket now thanks to a mate, we fancy a pub crawl en route to the ground where's the best place to get off at, Milton Keynes or Bletchley? Don't bother getting off at MK, all that's there are the city centre chain pubs you'd find anywhere. Fenny Stratford, 15 minute walk from Bletchley station through the town centre, think Peckham, and there's, I think, only 3 pubs left there, it's like everywhere else, pubs closing left right and centre. You'd have to head right out to the other side of town to Newport Pagnell or Stony Stratford for a decent pub crawl, but you'll be paying a tenner or more for a cab to as close to the ground allowed. If you don't fancy any of them my landlady will be glad of the custom and it's not the world's worst boozer, £3 a pint and a decent chippy next door.

Cheers mate we're actually coming in to MK Central now, i'll see what the others want to do & go from there, pm me your local pub's name & hopefully we'll be able to come along there.
January 26, 20169 yr Author The pub is the Eagle on Eaglestone, it's the estate next door but one to the city centre on the way out towards the stadium, any cabbie will know it.

February 1, 20169 yr Well that was a good day out yesterday, started in Spoons by the station then cabbed it to Fenny Stratford & drank in the Red Lion, moved on to the Bull where it was 10 deep at the bar, two pubs nearby were home fans only & I found out the owner is a Leeds fan & wont open for Utd or Chelsea fans, silly prick must have lost £1,000s yesterday, one pub said they'd taken £3,000 before the game, ended up getting in their supporters bar at the ground, after went back to Spoons where they'd ran out of Stella & Krone, Chelsea fans drinking it all according to bar staff. Thought our support was good, I was in the upper tier, their support was dead. Edited February 1, 20169 yr by Carshalton Blue
February 1, 20169 yr Drank in Leighton Buzzard and got a taxi from there. Much further than I thought but pub full of Chelsea as I believe word got round.  Funny place Milton Keynes.... not been there since the demolition of the Sanctuary music arena in 2004 back in my raving days.... its now home to Ikea on the MK stadium complex.  Just seems go be a giant retail park with a lot of dual carriage ways.  Decent  stadium to be fair. A bit on the soulless side but impressive facilities for a club of MK Dons stature never the less.  Long walk back to Bletchley station after the game...
February 15, 20169 yr Author And on the day my team played in my home town I was in Carshalton, my little bruv had a pretty bad tumble off of his bike and broke a few bones, punctured his lung and will now need stabilising wheels for the rest of his life, f**king idiot.

February 21, 20169 yr Author How's your bro now? Â How's your bro now? He's a big old lump, fit as a fiddle and cycles about 300 miles a week, no he didn't get it from me, so he's got over it pretty well. It's the bike I feel sorry for. Â Thanks for asking, Carshalton Blue as well, nice one chaps.
February 21, 20169 yr Author Sorry to hear that mate, hope he gets on the mend soon. Happened on Rosehill roundabout, hit a big pot hole and went flying, lucky thing I suppose that St H is just up Wrythe Lane.
