I don't have the answers I just believe that there's no coming back from the results against Bournemouth and City and he's one bad result away from the sack. I don't believe in this a manager needs more time football especially Chelsea is a cut throat business and if you're not performing you're out. Think as well this leaders thing is a bit of a cliche Spurs seem to be doing ok no real leaders at Man City or Liverpool for that matter just well coached footballers who believe in their manager and the system they are playing.

In the early 80's a few times in the Shed and in pubs if it was on the jukebox it was Seig Heil Seig Heil Chelsea. We have got a history of racism  at Chelsea no hiding the fact it's mainly been stamped out but it does surface now and again. Anyone who was at Spurs in 87 will tell you the words of one men went to mow were changed.

There are I'm afraid some young footballers who just give off a bad vibe and Courtois definitely falls into this bracket. Rather too much to say for himself and 73 million (reported) for someone who from what I've seen is a chasm behind Cech and for that matter Begovic. 73 million for an overrated keeper bite Madrid's hands off Roman and put it into the redevelopment of the Bridge.

It's funny I'm reading Bernard Sumner's autobiography and New Order did the music for this show. I have vague memories of it being on in London a Thursday night I think.
 

It's pretty obvious you place a lot of the blame for our poor season and jose's dismissal, at the feet of hazard. Which I find strange considering according to you he was never that good in the first place!
You ridicule his achievements in France, which I find strange as hazard achieved more in French football than say Drogba, or the pillar of consistency ronaldinho ever did. Surely both would be poty every season in such a weak French league? The league must be a walk in the park if kalou had a decent scoring record there? Kalou's record wasn't much different to his best season in England, especially when you take into account how many more minutes he played in France, and the fact he played more as a striker.
Is hazard world class? I guess it depends on what you deem to be world class. At his best, he is confident, decisive, exciting, and is the difference between a win or a loss. It's those attributes that I think he shares with the likes of Zidane nd ronaldinho.
If his career was to decline from here on in, I'd system he fell just short of being that top level of player, as it is I don't he's peaked yet, which is why I hope we don't sell him and miss out on his best years.
You also talk about short memories, and use the fact that hazard lost out to mata for poty in his first 2 seasons in English football as a negative for hazard. Do you not remember how good mata was during that period? Hazard may not have won our poty but he finished in the team of the year in both those seasons, and won young player of the year in his second. Short memories indeed.
I'm willing to put this season aside and give hazard the chance to redeem himself. I understand you want to get rid as I'm sure there are hundreds of players as good as you think he is. I just don't understand why you seem so aggressive about it.

I went! I think this is a game Speedie and Spackman came back to playing after falling out with the manager and Bates. Few months later Speedie Went off to Coventry and Spackman to the scousers.

I was in W.H. Smiths today there's a mag called Blue is the Colour it costs a tenner. Basically a history of the club has some really good old photos. I would upload them but it's not really my forte so I'll leave that to someone who's more capable then me. There's a photo of Ron Harris, Venables, Hollins and George Graham all in sharp suits looking cool. When you think a few years later there's this monstrosity how fashion changed and of course a couple of years after this you had punk.

Love the copper in the Northstand pic standing at the back with his helmet in his hand (ooh missus) looks like he's not exactly keen to get involved. The Fulham game I had just started a new job and got the flu after standing on the open terrace with just a t-shirt on came to work a week later everyone thought I had left. Big crush before the game if I remember rightly. Grimsby was a bloody brilliant day.
