I admit to being biased but for me the Main Stand at Ibrox is one of the most beautiful football stands in the World. It has great character and history. Rangers has done a great job in mixing old and new at Ibrox.

Against Bayern Munich in the semi-final of the Cup Winners Cup of 1971-1972. Rangers won 2-0 and went through 3-1 on aggregate to the Final.

May be an image of one or more people, people standing and outdoors

I remember my old man saying this was the biggest and nosiest crowd he’d ever seen and heard  at Ibrox.
The official attendance was given as 80,000. He reckoned there were easily 30,000 more in that night!
