I think thats true. I use Declan Jon or Rico Henry in fifa but I wouldn't say we need to sign them based off that. To be fair the people at EA do a good job of keeping their ear to the ground when it comes to relatively unknown players. If they're good in the game or have high potential, they are generally also the same in real life. None of that means you should use it as a scouting report though. 

I don't think this guy is good enough based off what I've seen which granted isn't much but I'm not trying to base my opinion off FIFA ratings either. 

Absolutely not. Looks bang average from the clips I've seen. I bet Chalobah has better YouTube clips.

Sure pal. Everyone knows YouTube can make anyone look fantastic (which is why I inserted the Chalobah joke) but if you're truly an impressive player, chances are you WILL look good in a few compilations. Nothing I've seen screams "must buy" to me. Also, the lad is only 5'6. Add that to a 5'5 Kante and we'll never win another header in the middle of the pitch. Bad combo. Bad for the balance of the team. And again, if you find something I can look at that makes him look as good as you say, then please show me because I haven't seen any. Not saying he's terrible. He's just not mind blowing. Not even sure he's worth a thread.

So you've completely written a player off based on five minutes of footage that was probably edited by some high school student because it isn't "mind blowing"?

You should try actually watching football and you'll see why this kid is so highly rated.

You'll struggle to find any Youtube footage at RB as Bundesliga block it all. Only clips you'll be able to find are of him playing internationally on a dry dusty pitch. Difficult for anyone to look good on that.

That's the point of highlights and clips isn't it? So you don't have to spend hours and hours watching a player to get a sense of how good they are. He hasn't written him off either, just said he doesn't look like anything special. From what I saw I don't think he's a must have player either. There's more than 5 minutes of footage of him on YouTube, don't be silly. Tell me, when we signed Alonso, where did you go to get a good idea of what he's like as a player? Did you go on YouTube or did you go watch hours on hours of Fiorentina matches?

WorldofFootball and ScoutNation make countless scouting videos on countless players on pretty much a weekly basis and they both have videos on Keita. I doubt they have an agenda for some CM from RB Leipzig but if you want to go ahead and make all the excuses in the world for the lad then go on. Read your post again and ask yourself if he's REALLY worth the twisting and turning you're doing trying to find excuses though. 

Listen, at the end of the day, it's just my opinion. You have a right to think he's a world beater and we should throw a club record fee at him. I also have a right to think he's okay but nothing special and we can do A LOT better. Off the top of my head, Tolisso from Lyon is miles better and would fit much better in our system. There's probably 8 other CMs I can mention that would make more sense but aye!

Whats the point of posting the video in the first place then? 'Check out this guy *highlight clip* If you aren't impressed, jog on or go watch 3 hours of him and then your lack of enthusiasm can be justified.'

If the only way to tell if he looks like a good player is watching hours of his game tape then not many of us are qualified to speak on him and why have the thread? 

I say again, not impressed with what I saw, pass. There are better players; yes I know that because I play FIFA and have seen other highlights. I don't need to watch Roma or Bayern every weekend to tell you Thiago and Nianggolan are better.
