Ahhhhhhhhh posts like this tend to jinx things, nearly did too!

Those few minutes after the Mancs scored were among the longest I've ever known ... HUGE sigh of relief ... and we can do it we can do it ... YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

we have some tough games but the heat is on utd...west ham next and that is now a real toughie as they have found form at the right time and are fighting for their lives...still this will give the boys a real psycholgical lift...they looked shattered against spurs today and the season is taking it's toll, but that news will give them renewed belief

Superb !!

Just heard the news.

I've been stayin away from the TV and the Radio recently as that mob keep churning out the results and making me sick and on the one occasion I don't listen/watch their game, they lose icon_lol.gif !!

The heat is well on them and it's firmly within reach again for us !

You're right, it won't be easy. Because of the goal difference, we still need them to slip up again, and we need to beat them at the Bridge, and we need to win all our other remaining games, and we really have got some tough ones ahead .. the thing is, now they've finally lost, little doubts will now start creeping into their minds ... game on!!!

West Ham away, Newcastle away, and Arsenal away. It will be tough for us.

They got Everton away, City "away", and us away.

Everton is fighting for a spot in Europe next year so I'm praying they take a point.

They now lost 2 matches in the past 4 days. I am confident that they'll drop at least two points before our match.

But we have to make sure we don't.

We just have to forget about them for now and play our matches like our lives depended on them.

I can see both teams dropping points between now and the end of the season and I firmly believe that the game at the Bridge is going to be a title decider as I expect both teams to win their final games at home. The moment the fixture was shifted you just had a sneaky suspicion it was going to be massive.

I have never been a religous man but having seen today's game and David James latest look I have to say that I do truly believe that 'Jesus Saves'

A great day for us today and the best part is that Portsmouth actually deserved the win, ok a couple of offside decisions helped but they looked like they believed they could get something and that makes other teams less likely to roll over ala spurs when they conceded the dodgy penalty.

Portsmouth were never outclassed and always looked a danger on the counter, David Moyes will expect at least a point from the home game against them and West Ham will be feeling good after keeping another clean sheet in their second win over Arsenal this season, we still have a chance and if we win all our games it surely will be enough.

If we drop two points though I dread them getting it on their Goal Average,

we wont think about that now though as this was what was needed and the sooner it happened the better, they played after we had got the three points and couldn't hack it, maybe the pressure will be too much and with Vidic out teams know they are not so tight at the back and not so intimidating on corners etc.

nice to see Joey get another little run out today as well.

Im in two minds here , would i prefer to lose it now , because losing it at the Bridge would be shattering and dont think id recover until the start of next season .

Too scarey to predict , i normally get it wrong anyway , so im going for Spurs to win the UEFA Cup 247.gif

I thought he should have been opening the batting for Bangladesh!
