A bit off subject but did you see that Joan Baez is touring Europe next year. Going by the title of the tour it could be her last. I last saw her in 1984 so it's about time I saw her again.

Oh I hope she comes to Paris!    I saw her in Edinburgh in the 60's - she stood all alone on the stage, just her and her guitar and her voice filled a huge concert hall!

 

She will be playing in Paris in June. I saw her at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1984 and as when you saw her it was just her and a guitar. I've heard several singers over the years and she is without doubt the best I've heard.

Yes, I checked it out. She's at Olympia for a week. I think I will book one of the best seats! If I am going to go, I might as well do it in style! Yippee!

Hope you get to see her. I've just ordered a ticket to see her at the Royal Albert Hall.

 

Not many toured Belfast in the 70’s and 80’s, wonder why, so I’ve never seen her live and her concert in March is sold out already so unless  an extra date is added it won’t be this time.
