June 21, 20197 yr Fixtures for the SPFL were announced this morning. Here's to the 'Gers winning title 55 and what could be one of the greatest parties ever. I hope that the game against Celtic is moved from 31 August as that game clashes with our game against Sheffield United. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/full-fixture-list/ WATP
July 1, 20197 yr Author Off subject but what a fighter. Stay strong Fernando. https://www.itv.com/news/2019-07-01/im-going-to-beat-this-however-impossible-it-may-seem-ex-rangers-player-fernando-ricksen-speaks-at-fundraiser/ WATP
July 4, 20197 yr ^ Very sad to read, but his attitude is first class. Such a brave man. Thankfully, MND is starting to gain more awareness in the public conscience. In Australia, well known former Australian Rules footballer and coach, Neale Daniher, has raised millions of dollar in the hope that scientists can find treatment that can slow the progression of the disease and possibly find a cure in the future. Since being diagnosed in 2013 (similar to Fernando's diagnosis period), he's dedicated the rest of his life to this initiative and has been widely supported by the whole community. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-07-01/afl-great-neale-daniher-vic-of-the-year-for-mnd-advocacy/11266184

Sounds very similar to the work carried out by Doddie Weir the former Scotland and British and Irish Lions rugby union player. https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/ All credit to those sports men and women and their families and friends for doing loads of work for charities.
July 9, 20197 yr Author Comfortable win for the 'Gers in Gibraltar. Now for the return leg at Ibrox next week. Hope the team qualifies for the Group Stage of the Europa League. Today is the 30th anniversary of Mo Johnston signing for Rangers. Caused uproar at the time.
July 10, 20197 yr Author A bit off subject but a picture to mark Ally McCoist winning the Golden Boot in season 92/93. Only 1,000 printed. I picked up a copy in an art shop in Rochester, Kent of all places back in the nineties.
July 12, 20197 yr Author The latest Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal (RSEA) badge which goes on sale this coming Monday, 15 July. A cracking badge and monies raised go to a great cause.
July 22, 20196 yr Author Received the latest RSEA badge this morning. Looks great. Have all the badges from 2010 to 2019. Just need to get hold of badges for 2007 to 2009 for the full set.
July 29, 20196 yr Author Talk of the capacity at Ibrox being increased to about 55,000. With 47,000 season ticket holders an increase would be good. A lot of changes to Ibrox over the years, mostly as a result of the disaster in 1971. I think that Ibrox still holds the record for the largest league attendance in the U.K. and that is about 120,000.
August 4, 20196 yr Author Left it late but a good win against Kilmarnock. Had some tricky games and dropped points against them last season. A great header from Goldson to win the match. WATP.
August 11, 20196 yr biggest mistake I made today was turning off Rangers v Hibs at 3-1 to watch Chelsea get spanked by Man Utd! great start for Rangers - WATP

Wish I had watched it as well. I heard an interview yesterday on the radio with David Robertson the former 'Gers defender. I hadn't realised that he was managing a team in Kashmir. With the problems in Kashmir he is unable to contact his players. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48519366
August 15, 20196 yr another good performance tonight, Legia Warsaw might be a bit more of a challenge

August 25, 20196 yr Author Cracking free kick from Barisic to score the only goal in the win over St.Mirren. The 'Gers probably should have scored more but St. Mirren seemed content to sit back and defend. A big game this coming Thursday. A win will take them through to the group stage of the Europa League and then on Sunday there is the matter of a match against those from the dark side.
August 25, 20196 yr yeah - that was a tough game, St Mirren were really compact and really were out for a draw if they could get one. They had one chance to make it 1-1 and that was about it. Hate games like that!
August 28, 20196 yr Author I wonder if I can get a shirt with Chelsea on it. Chelsea for Saturday against Sheffield United and Rangers for Sunday against ......
August 29, 20196 yr Author Great win for the 'Gers. Will be interesting to see who they get in the group stage.
September 1, 20196 yr Author Big game today. Here's to a 'Gers win. A repeat of the 5-1 game on 27 August 1988 would be brilliant. Ray Wilkins scored a brilliant goal. WATP
September 13, 20196 yr Author https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/armed-forces-day-at-ibrox-5/ Another great gesture by the 'Gers.
