I think that the Charlton Women's team play their home games at the Valley. If so, I'll go to the Valley when we play there. It will give me an opportunity to go to The River Ale House pub which is not far from the Valley and always has a great choice of beers available.

Saluting a chappie with his priorities right.

Khadija Shaw staying at City after all with a huge new deal. Way to negotiate, Khadija.

I'm amazed that she has turned down an opportunity to work with Blue Co.and be part of this outstanding project.

I sent the following message to the club yesterday:

"At Kingsmeadow there were a number of banners in support of the Women's team. With the Women's team playing all their home games at Stamford Bridge from next season will the banners be moved as well and if so where will they be located especially given that a lot of space is already taken up. Thank you."

I received the following response this morning. If I receive any updates from the club will post on here:

"Thank you for your email regarding flags at Kingsmeadow. These have been taken back to Stamford Bridge and we will be informing supporters on plans for these in due course. If you own one of the Kingsmeadow banners and would like to collect it from Stamford Bridge, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Fan Experience Team"

Chelsea FC Women to play cup fixtures at the Cherry Red R...

Chelsea FC Women today announces that from next season, the first team will play cup competition home matches at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, the home of AFC Wimbledon, in a new multi-year agreement.

The Blues will play all Women’s Super League home matches at Stamford Bridge from the start of the 2026/27 season and, to accommodate for complex fixture schedules and a regulatory requirement to have two compliant stadiums, home domestic cup and any home European league-phase cup matches the team qualifies for will be played at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Stamford Bridge will remain the home for UEFA Women's Champions League knockout stage games, should Chelsea progress that far.

CFCW has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with AFC Wimbledon, previously sharing our beloved Kingsmeadow. The Cherry Red Records Stadium is a new, purpose-built, highly accessible stadium which meets all competition requirements and has a capacity of 9,000 – enabling the club to build attendances for competition matches over time.

Nadia Shahrestani, business operations director at CFCW, said: ‘We are delighted that from next season we will be playing league phase cup fixtures at the fantastic Cherry Red Records Stadium. While Stamford Bridge is our home, we want to ensure that our alternative venue is inclusive, convenient, as well as being fully compliant with all competition regulations.

‘We look forward to creating some special memories at the ground with our incredible fans and would like to thank AFC Wimbledon for all their support.’

Now our stadiums for the 2026/27 season have been confirmed, full match-by-match ticket prices can be found by clicking here

IF ONLY THEY HAD THEIR OWN STADIUM WHERE THEY COULD PLAY ALL THEIR MATCHES!!!!

Does seem strange that CL group stage games can be played at AFC Wimbledon's ground and the CL knock-out matches will be played at the Bridge.

The academy teams play at Kingsmeadow. Suspect they'll end up playing at AFC Wimbledon's ground and then Kingsmeadow will be sold.

Exactly. They talk like they’re levelling up the women’s team but instead of investing in their own ground to make them feel valued they’re selling it for some easy money. Stamford Bridge will always prioritise the men’s team if there’s ever a clash.

It's going to be a bloody nightmare with both the men and women playing at the Bridge and who will get priority. It's my understanding that European matches are given priority over domestic games so if the women qualify for the knock-out stages of the Women's Champions league that the men have to move games. Moving games around and sometimes at short-notice will piss off the broadcasters and the local residents and businesses but more importantly the fans.

All in all, football is in a f**king mess

Man City are now looking to sign Niamh Charles. Ffs.

Of all the sh*t going down about our club the decimation of our women's team and our position in women's football is the litmus paper for the horrific impact this enterprise of f**kwits have had since their arrival. Its a pandemic level effect. The Clearlake Virus. Fking despise them all.
