Chelsea FC and Chelsea FC Women head to Sydney for pre-se...

Chelsea Football Club today announces that Chelsea FC and Chelsea FC Women will be playing in the 2026 Sydney Super Cup next summer.

As part of our pre-season tours, both teams will be flying out to Sydney to take part in what is set to be an unmissable competition held over two weeks in the iconic Australian city, across July and August next year.

This tournament will mark a series of firsts for the club. Our men’s team will be taking on London rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the first time ever outside of the UK in this historic rivalry.

For our women’s team, this will be the first time playing in Australia where we will go up against the A-League Women All-Stars. The encounter will feature Sam Kerr and Ellie Carpenter facing their Matildas teammates.

The men’s team will also play Western Sydney Wanderers as the squad prepares for the start of 2026/27 season.

Chelsea's home Women's Super League clash with Arsenal mo...

Chelsea's blockbuster home clash against Arsenal has a new kick-off time after being selected for live TV broadcast.

The match will take place on Saturday 24 January at Stamford Bridge, and will be shown live on BBC One. As a result, the game will now kick off at 12.30pm UK time.

After a stunning goal from Alyssa Thompson secured our 1-1 draw away at the Emirates Stadium in November, this is our chance to face our London derby rivals in front of a packed-out crowd in SW6.

Tickets are still available for this mouthwatering clash against the Gunners at the Bridge and can be purchased here.

The men's team is playing Brentford at the Bridge on Saturday, 17 January so hopefully the two games won't clash.

Date set for Crystal Palace clash

Game is at Kingsmeadow and kicks-off at 12.30 on Saturday, 17 January. The men play Brentford at the Bridge later that day and it will be impossible to attend both games. Yet again fans can't go to both and will have to make a choice. Another example of poor planning and organisation by the club, football authorities and the broadcasters.

Chelsea Women’s home WSL clash with Liverpool moved for l...

Chelsea's home clash against Liverpool in the Women's Super League has a new kick-off time after being selected for live TV broadcast.

Chelsea Women's fixture will take place on Sunday 15 February at Kingsmeadow, and will be shown live on Sky Sports. As a result, the game will now kick off at 12 noon UK time.

Our final match of 2025 saw us defeat Liverpool by a huge 9-1 scoreline, with Johanna Rytting Kaneryd firing a hat-trick in St Helens. That emphatic result saw us advance to the Women's League Cup semi-final in style, and we will face the same opponent in WSL action early in 2026.

Ticket information for this fixture will follow in due course.

Good news for me that the game has been moved to a noon kick-off. Allows me plenty of time to get home and then head to a local music venue to see the brilliant blues guitarist and singer Chantel McGregor. Could be a blues double!
