Chelsea's 2025/26 Women's Super League fixtures announced

A home fixture against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge will kick off our 2025/26 campaign, as Sonia Bompastor bids to retain the Women’s Super League title after lifting the trophy during her first season in charge at Chelsea.

A full list of matches has now been released for our 2025/26 campaign, including four WSL games to be played at Stamford Bridge. The Bridge Pass guarantees your spot for all four at the best guaranteed price, in addition to other benefits.

We head into the season as reigning champions, with the season opener against Manchester City set for Friday 5 September at 7.30pm.

Here we have everything you need to know about who, where and when Chelsea will be playing…

Who is Chelsea’s first WSL game of 2025/26 against?

Our season opener will be against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Ticketing information for this fixture will be announced soon.

Who will the Blues finish the 2025/26 season against?

The final fixture of the campaign is an enticing home clash against Manchester United on the weekend of 15-17 May. That fixture will be played at Stamford Bridge.

Which four games will Chelsea Women play at Stamford Bridge?

Our exciting season opener against Manchester City will be in front of our fans at Stamford Bridge on Friday 5 September at 7.30pm, as we look to kick off our title defence against top-level opposition.

We will be back at the Bridge the following month for a fascinating clash against newly promoted London City Lionesses. That match will be held in SW6 in early November.

The home game against Arsenal will be one of the first our fans look for on the fixture list. We will face the Gunners in late January at the Bridge, having done the double over our London rivals in the WSL last season.

Last season saw the title-winning celebrations go off with a bang against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, and the final home game of 2025/26 will see us welcome Manchester United at our famous stadium in mid-May.

You can secure your spot to all four games at Stamford Bridge with The Bridge Pass, saving you 20 per cent compared to buying individual match tickets throughout the season.

Who else do Chelsea play in the opening weeks of the season?

Our second fixture takes us to Villa Park, where we will face Aston Villa. That game will be on Sunday 14 September.

We then host Leicester City at Kingsmeadow on Sunday 21 September.

When do Chelsea play Arsenal and Tottenham?

We face Spurs at Kingsmeadow on Saturday 11 October, and travel to north London on 8 November to play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

It’s then Arsenal at the Bridge in late January 2026, before we visit Tottenham at Brisbane Road - home of Leyton Orient - shortly afterwards on 8 February.

When is the Women’s Super League mid-season break taking place?

Domestic football will pause for the Christmas and New Year period. Our final league game before the festivities will take us to Brighton and Hove Albion on 14 December.

We return – as things currently stand – from the winter break with a trip to West Ham United at Kingsmeadow on 11 January, in our first league fixture of 2026.

Individual match tickets

Information on individual match tickets will be announced soon. Register your interest to be the first to hear about tickets going on sale for fixtures at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow.

First time I've seen the expression in bowl drinking. Why not say drinking when in your seat. May be of interest to those of you who drink. Won't affect me as I'm teetotal!

Drinking In The Bowl introduced on trial basis at Chelsea...

Chelsea FC Women will allow supporters to drink alcohol in-bowl on a trial basis for selected home matches in the 2025/26 season, ensuring a phased approach to enhancing the matchday experience and offering more choice for our supporters.

The trial will apply to Women's Super League (WSL) and League Cup fixtures only and reflects both growing fan demand and the successful implementation of similar trials across selected WSL League 2 clubs last season.

Drinking In The Bowl will commence when Chelsea Women play Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, with the match taking place the weekend of 5-7 September.

This season’s trial will be operated on a flexible basis, with the locations where alcohol can be taken into the seating area to be reviewed and scaled up or down depending on the nature of the match and the timing of kick-off. At this stage, in-bowl drinking will not be permitted during FA Cup or UEFA Women’s Champions League fixtures.

As the trial commences, fans will be able to enjoy alcohol responsibly in the West Stand and within hospitality areas at Stamford Bridge. At Kingsmeadow, supporters can drink alcohol in seats throughout Blocks A – H. At both grounds drinks will be decanted into reusable cups, which the club requests are returned to help support our sustainability efforts in limiting the presence of single-use plastics.

Pre-match and half-time refreshments will be available throughout the grounds for supporters in line with a usual matchday offering.

To accommodate fans who prefer a dry environment, the East Lower stand will continue to serve as the designated Family Stand at Stamford Bridge, where alcohol consumption in the seating area will remain prohibited. At Kingsmeadow, Blocks J to M in the West Stand will remain alcohol-free.

The club has worked closely with supporter groups, our Safety Advisory Group and local authorities throughout the planning stages of this initiative. Collective input has been central to shaping a trial that prioritises fan choice while maintaining a strong focus on safety and inclusivity.

The pilot follows special events at Stamford Bridge when in-bowl drinking was permitted at Soccer Aid for UNICEF in 2019 and 2024 along with Chelsea Foundation's Legends match in 2023, demonstrating the club's ability to manage the experience safely and effectively.

Tracy Brown, Chelsea Fan Advisory Board member, said: ‘The Fan Advisory Board is pleased to support the introduction of drinking trials at Chelsea FC Women's matches at Kingsmeadow and Stamford Bridge. This initiative represents a progressive step toward improving the matchday experience for our dedicated supporters while maintaining the safety and community atmosphere that makes women's football so special.’

A Chelsea FC Women spokesperson added: ‘We are always looking at ways to extend fans’ matchday experiences, and as a trial project, Drinking In The Bowl provides the option to enjoy a drink while watching games at Kingsmeadow and Stamford Bridge. We have seen alcohol in-bowl at previous events and know many supporters will welcome it. We will continue to monitor and assess its success alongside supporter feedback and operational information. Safety remains our first priority, and we will adapt the approach as needed over the course of the season.’

Chelsea FC Women is one of several WSL clubs taking part in this coordinated trial, which has the full support of the league and relevant authorities.

Fans will be kept informed throughout the season regarding the efficacy of the trial, and any decision on extending the areas in which fans can drink alcohol will be reviewed and announced as the season progresses.

One of the things I prefer about women’s football is not being surrounded by pissed up dickheads, I hope this doesn’t change anything. A lot of the fans seems to be family’s with young kids/youngsters so I don’t see it changing much.

@Boyne heard anything about season tickets yet? I’m yet to receive a physical one or find it on the app (I can’t remember what they’re doing with them tbh).

@Munkunku haven't received a physical ticket yet. Have received a ticket on the app for the game against City at Stamford Bridge on 5 September. Also have a ticket on the app for the game against Leicester City on 21 September. I read on the Chelsea website that fans age going to be given the choice of using a card or the app at Kingsmeadow. I'll use the card at Kingsmeadow given the wi-fi signal is a bit dodgy there.

I'm at the Bridge on Friday for the match at Bayer Leverkusen so will try the app then. Hopefully it will work but who knows!

@Valerie playing the team whose name can't be mentioned this coming Sunday.

@Boyne Didn't the women come over here for pre-season last year as well? Anyway, I tried to see how much a ticket costs, but unsurprisingly the site isn't working for me. I might be blacklisted 😁

@Valerie I think they went to the States last year but will check. Just had a look on the ticket website and it looks like the tickets have been sold. You'll have to stand outside the ground with a big Chelsea flag!

I would do a lot for Chelsea, but standing around in about the least inspiring area of Amsterdam (strictly speaking it's not even IN Amsterdam) is not one of them 🫣

Good point. It's a bit like me standing outside Celtic's ground with a Chelsea flag or if I wished to lose my life a Rangers one.
