Chelsea duo Lucy Bronze and Lauren James have been named in the FIFPRO Women's World XI.

Bronze and James were voted by their fellow players to be included in the side which recognises performances between August 2023 and 2024.

It is a joint-record seventh selection for Bronze, who moves level with former Lyon team-mate Wendie Renard on the all-time list of players to be named in the XI. Meanwhile, it is the second occasion James has been voted into the team, having been included last year.

James finished the 2023/24 season as Chelsea's top scorer with 16 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions, with 13 of those goals coming in our title-winning Women's Super League campaign.

Last season saw Bronze win a fifth UEFA Champions League title with former club Barcelona. Before joining the Blues this summer. The defender also won a second league title and two more domestic cups in her final campaign with the Spanish giants.

FIFPRO Women's XI

- Mary Earps (England), Manchester United/Paris Saint-Germain
- Lucy Bronze (England), Chelsea/Barcelona
- Olga Carmona (Spain), Real Madrid
- Alex Greenwood (England), Manchester City
- Aitana Bonmati (Spain), Barcelona
- Alexia Putellas (Spain), Barcelona
- Keira Walsh (England), Barcelona
- Barbra Banda (Zambia), Shanghai Shengli/Orlando Pride
- Linda Caicedo (Colombia), Real Madrid
- Lauren James (England), Chelsea
- Marta (Brazil), Orlando Pride

Congratulations, Lucy and Lauren!
