IMO we should get a new CB which should be our priority since it seems that T.Silva won't be extending his contract. We have lacked a leader in defense and if we ever want to do well with a back 4 formation a world class CB is a must.

Zouma has done well but I feel that we should get an upgrade, not sure though who would be our top target.

I still wonder what the real story was between Lampard and Tomori, and why Tomori fell out of favour toward the second half of last season.

Silva's been a great inclusion for the club. It's a shame he isn't five years younger.

Recently has made me realise we can’t really rely on Thiago Silva as our main centre back. He’s still one of the world’s best but look at how long it is taking him to recover from that injury against Tottenham. Clearly his age plays a big part so it’s definitely a MUST we sign a centre back on a similar level to Silva.

We can have Tomori, Christensen and Rudiger/Zouma as back up. (If we’re sticking with 3 at back. If not, 3 back up may be too many).

I didn't want him to get totally frozen out but I equally didn't understand the mass outrage of the decision. Tomori wasn't anywhere near as good as was made out, he had a stunning first few games but then started making some very basic errors.

Barring a major turnaround I reckon he'd be rated as lowly as Rudi/AC currently are if he was still a regular, if not lower.

I think we should sell either Christensen or Rudiger and then buy an upgrade. Maybe next season we see a breakthrough of Xavier Mbuyamba, he looks like he could potentially be a great player for us in the future.
