July 9, 20215 yr Never seen him kick a ball, but we have apparently made enquiries. Of course ManU have made all the noises. He seems to have a bit of steel in his character based on what I’ve read and has already played for France. We have Mendy ex Rennes, the Cech connection, Kante and until now Giroud. how good is he? August 31, 20214 yr Sitting on the bench behind Modric/Kroos/Casemiro/Valverde etc. Expect him to have the Jovic/Odegaard treatment and end up at West Ham in 3 years.
August 31, 20214 yr An 18yr old midfielder will never become a mainstay in Carlo's team. Not when you have Modric, Kroos and Casemiro in front of you. Ridiculous move.
August 31, 20214 yr Too many young players move to top clubs too quickly. Would have been nice to see him play for a mid tier team such as West Ham, Leicester, etc before making the big move. Now he’s put himself under serious risk of stagnating his development. Not great to see. I would have said the same if he joined us btw, we have too many top class players too.
September 1, 20214 yr Author Modric is 35. Camavinga may well not be a starter for a season or two but I’ll be surprised if Modric is still starting say midway through next season. Not many 36-37 year olds starting in top tier teams in central midfield.

When he's not playing i expect Valverde naturally slots in. regardless, i doubt Camavinga starts much at all.
September 1, 20214 yr Modric has only played the first game for Real Madrid this season and Kroos none (I guess they are injured ?). They are playing Casemiro, Valverde and Isco as starters. I guess Camavinga will get plenty of game time, but who knows with how crazy Real Madrid works.
September 1, 20214 yr He reminds me a lot of Clarence Seedorf and Edgar Davids. I think he'll be a brilliant signing for Madrid. I really wanted him to come here, but I guess we weren't that interested.
September 12, 20214 yr I genuinely don't believe he is better than Conor Gallagher. I might eat my words in 5 years time but Gallagher looks a far more polished player whereas Camavinga looks like a raw luxury.
