Good window. Personally I would like the EFL to stay open for one further week for domestic loans only.

So premier league clubs that don't get their squads exactly to the shape they want would have the chance for one more week to loan players internally. Because these deals would be last minute the PL clubs would have to be creative to help the FL clubs afford the deals. It would still help the PL clubs to reduce the headcount and the wage bill but would still offer bargains and some exclusivity to some of the FL clubs.

Can't get a deal done for Malang Sarr before the window closes, so we are stuck with a player that cannot play and won't be in our squad but is still drawing a hefty salary. No worries we can loan him to Southampton on a short term deal until the winter window opens with Southampton only paying half of his wages and no fee. Its attractive enough for them to do it. Its not brilliant for us but it still gets a body out the door and saves us half his wages.

That sort of thing anyway.
