Some great performances today.

Ramirez was on fire and Millie Bright didn't put a foot wrong in defence.

Great start to the weekend beating Woolwich.

Great result, first half very good.

Second was like the siege at the Alamo at times yet we held out.

Millie B was indeed very good as was the runs of Ramirez and that cleve overheard strike.

Shout to Lauren James for the assist of the 2nd too.

Slightly off subject but Eidevall has resigned as manager of the Arsenal Women's team. Must have been because of losing to Chelsea on Saturday!

I missed the game but read the team was booed at the end. I can't recall him falling out with any of the players but it will be interesting to hear if he did. Didn't Carla Ward want a break to spend more time with her daughter. Perhaps Casey Stoner? Hopefully it won't improve matters for the Arsenal women. Just need Arteta to leave the men's team.

Yeah, for starters he didn't want Miedema to stay, she signed for Man City on a free, Beth Mead (her partner) hasn't been the same since and is either a sub or taken off.

They did get booed as well and I think they've only won 2 of their last 7 games.

He was under pressure from fans, I think he quit before he was fired.

I was surprised to see him lose his job,  Arsenal at times played quite well.

He always somewhat arrogant and as we know Emma Hayes took a disliking to him.

 

 

 

Oh no Arsenal might get someone competent in now
