I saw a 25 min spell in the 2nd half.

Liked seeing Neto linking up with Delap.

The best I have seen Delap since he arrived.

Neto's deliveries were good too.

Santos looked good providing an outlet for the back three and good on the ball.

Sarr in defence looked decent too.

Good to see Rosenior bringing on a couple of youngsters once we were comfortable.

A bit lucky not to concede near the end.

Really enjoyed this and the next match against Burnley probably marks the end of Rosenior's honeymoon period and we will get down to the very serious business after that. I think that is the moment we will see a settled formation until the end of the season and by the looks of it, apart from the constant management of minutes for Fofana, I think Sanchez, Cucurella, Chalobah, Caicedo, Santos, Enzo, Palmer, Neto and Joao Pedro will start most of the matches. Enzo's position in the left pocket is something I vouch for, too. Garnacho and Gittens can't be trusted at the moment.

Subject to the hamstring issue. No official update but the Spanish Fed are reported to be concerned. We shall see.

Looked an issue against Leeds. Thankfully there's two weeks left before Arsenal and that difficult run of matches.

@VascoRF92 told us all. I believed early, that person knows their stuff.

We could have had Rayan for 25mill, instead we got Gitte

It's always amazing to see you guys remember what i've told about santos years ago hahahaha.

Yes, i can tell, he is not even on his peak, like not even even close.

Andrey is a monster of player, i told that 3 years ago and i will say it again, he will me the best on his position in the near future.

Probably missed that but it's obvious from only the few games he's had under LR he's a better player than Enzo, not that that's saying much, so why did Maresca never play him ?

I'm with you, Santos makes a big difference from the back to the front...

Because Maresca don't understand a single sh*t of football?

Because as has been pointed out around here, Maresca saw him as a box crasher a la Enzo and he wasn't going to start in front of Enzo. In short, Maresca knew bugger all about him.

Apart from being a shyte manager he's a bloody weird guy that Maresca...

Had a little group of his favorite players and no one else got a look in ...

I think he'd have tried Gusto in goal if he was a bit taller :)

Rosenior has pretty much arrived at this conclusion himself ... hence he's been playing Fernandez at LW instead, which has the added bonus of giving us better options starting at DM and #10, while keeping Eghbali off his back as Fernandez still starts.

This is probably the best way to get result. Just ignore all these players who is not ready to play. Not ideal for talent development, but talent development get you nothing as manager.

The only thing weirder than Maresca were the Maresca-apologists that followed him through thick and thin. Almost as bad as the fans Sarri brought with him.
