Terry not fit to be England captain

I heard tonight that Poll actually supports QP joke - which would explain a lot. The source of the misinformation that he was a Chelsea fan was his son, who was only about 6 at the time. Mini Poll told my nephew, who told his dad who told me.

There you go.

As usual, Mr Holt from The Mirror is on the right side of the track

Poll should be brought to book..not Terry

Oliver Holt 29/08/2007

That prancing prig Graham Poll, who says he hates the limelight but can't stop bathing in it, demanded John Terry be stripped of the England captaincy. Why Poll (left) thinks anyone should listen to the opinion of a jumped up, ego-crazed, bungling ex-referee on the subject of the England captaincy is beyond me. Anyway, the real reason Poll dislikes Terry is obvious.

It's because the England skipper refused to indulge Poll's pathetic fantasy about being best mates with all the top players. The truth is that the blame for a lot of the stick coming the way of referees these days should be laid at Poll's door.

He led the way in trying to turn referees into stars at the heart of the action when they should always remain on the periphery.

Now the men he's left behind are paying the price for Poll's wish to be a star.

Graham Poll is an idiot who is craving the limelight right now, so much im expecting him to appear on the next Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Mr. Poll is a Grade A prat and hates all things Chelsea especially John Terry . He is still very bitter at the treatment he got from the crowd at the Man Utd game last season . My mate a chelsea season ticket holder has the misfortune to date his wife?s best friend and confirms he is a very arrogant tosser who thinks he owns Tring . Still he takes great pleasure in pointing out he is retired ????????????..which really gets his goat

Spot on, there.

He's obviously out to plug his forthcoming autobiography.

I watched an hilarious interview with him dripping in hair products and awkwardly wearing clothes designed for far younger men. He's presumably employed a stylist who normally works on Blue Peter!
