Was a bit crazy but you could see the enthusiasm he has for the club.

Hansen is only happy when Liverpool are winning, he is so biased it ridiculous. His best meltdown ever was week one of the 1996 season when he bashed Ferguson for letting a few players go and fielding the kids. He raised his voice and banged the desk as he said "you can't win anything with kids"................nine months later they won the double.

I disagree. On the whole Hansen knows what he's talking about. He thought we looked a bit of a shambles. He wasn't wrong.

Yep - although it galls me to say it (as I don't like him personally) Hansen has been very complimentary and fair to us over the last three seasons in his newspaper column and elsewhere. I personally remember several MOTDs during the 2005/6 season where he refused to accept that 'boring' epithet and actually called us a classy outfit. We looked anything but class yesterday!

I agree - Hansen talks sense and tells it how he sees it. He can't believe the speed of our decline as he's always rated us. What he said was not anti-Chelsea bias but sadly accurate. Here's his BBC colums, which is spot-on:
