Maksimov
I hope the medical staff have got this right and they're not just letting Terry back into action too early. Riccy and Alex have been great, so there's no need to rush him.
dkw
my thoughts exactly. if hes not ready, let him rest it and come back flying.
Gem
No point in risking him for Huddersfield when theres Champions league and cup final soon approaching. Still, good news none the less.
BLUENUT
it does say 'in the squad' and not in the 'starting 11' so lets hope they ease him back
Bodzilla
This could be a tough call. Will Grant stand up to Terry and tell him he is not playing if he feels Terry is not fit enough? Lampard was straight back into the team, is this the precedent set by the manager?
The Moos
Grant said: "Perhaps he is the bionic man. But he is very strong both mentally and physically. I'd rather call him the Ironman. It's great to have him back but, as others have pointed out, let's hope he hasn't rushed this. I'm sure he want's to come back as soon as possible but better not risk anything. It's not as if we're having huge problems in the defence. With Riccy and Alex things have looked good. Still, I can't deny that the possibility to have Riccy and JT back together against Spuds sounds great. Feel a bit sorry for Alex though. He has done so well and now he'll be pushed back to 3rd choice with limited time on the pitch (unless, God forbid, Riccy or JT gets injured again). loz
No point in risking him for Huddersfield when theres Champions league and cup final soon approaching. Still, good news none the less. on the other hand what better game to bring him back in then one where the defence SHOULD (and I capitalise on purpose) have a reasonably comfortable day. Personally, if he is properly fit, I would start him on the bench and see the game is progressing before deciding whether, and when, to bring him on. JT26CFC
THANK YOU Yeah should maybe come on as a sub just to ease back into the game. I feel bad for Alex though Carvahlo and Terry in the back, Anelka and Drogba at the front-
Guest Brian M
I can't wait for us to have a full strength team. Seems like an age since we had everybody available.
