I was waiting for the subject to come up but no one has got around to it (I think). Barcelona have recently said they would allow Deco to leave in the summer and the player himself has said, "I will almost certainly go to England or Italy." Seeing as our club is screaming out for a playmaker and that one of the best in the buisness has become available surely we should make a move? I have always been a fan of Deco and the range of passing and vision he brings to a team. Not the youngest at 30 but still a fantastic player. Would anyone else be up for it?

Absolutely no way. I do not want our club to be a graveyard for greedy, over-the-hill players. Van der Vaart, Moutinho or Diego however do fit the bill..

Apart from the fact that we are already overloaded with central midfielders, that he is not better than Lamps, Ballack, Essien etc. That he is past it. That is is a horrible little c**t.

1. He is a different type of player to Lampard, Ballack and (in particular) Essien

2. Don't confuse form with ability. He is a very intelligent player who great on the ball and is far from "past it"

3. Calling him a horrible little c*** is a very subjective peice of opinion. It's nice to have players at the club that you like, but should we sell Drogba and Ashley Cole because some people think they are horrible c***s?.
