MURDOCH_(8)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7403550.stm I was waiting for the subject to come up but no one has got around to it (I think). Barcelona have recently said they would allow Deco to leave in the summer and the player himself has said, "I will almost certainly go to England or Italy." Seeing as our club is screaming out for a playmaker and that one of the best in the buisness has become available surely we should make a move? I have always been a fan of Deco and the range of passing and vision he brings to a team. Not the youngest at 30 but still a fantastic player. Would anyone else be up for it? Iceman
Absolutely no way. I do not want our club to be a graveyard for greedy, over-the-hill players. Van der Vaart, Moutinho or Diego however do fit the bill..
Maksimov
Chelsea can hire him so Terry has a target for his shooting practice sessions, but that's the closest anyone should let him to our first team.

Nibs
No Thanks. Well past his best and a horrible cheating little f**ker to boot. Besides, what we need are some young players with a bit of hunger to mix with the experienced established players we already have.
g3.7
he's a genius. but only 14 league starts last season, and injuries creeping in. I wouldn't mind if we got him but would prefer someone more long term for that position.
Gem
I'd have him if it meant Spuds didn't.
Maksimov
he's an idiot There...fixed that for you. No need to thank me.
TheWestwayWonder
too old, too whiny, and too past it. Look at Yanited: there buying young has resulted in sustained success because players are always out to make a name for themselves. We have a veteran backbone, lets surround it with some good youth And I want fewer "attitude problem" players in the first team, not more.

Elliott
This is the bloke who hardly played for Barca last season as he was too busy getting bolloxed and f**king hookers. With his money, i cant say i blame him, but i wouldnt want him at Chelsea!
dreadis
NO NO NO NO NO!!!! And another NO!!!!! If we were to bring in another midfielder, which is the least of or worries, then it could only be Van der Vaart and nobody else!

Enrico
Would be impossible to fit him into the team. He's good, but not while we have Lampard. They're about the same age as well so I think stick with what we have.
Guest
If his available on the cheap, I don't see the harm with bringing him in for a while.
Chelsea FC Champions
If his available on the cheap, I don't see the harm with bringing him in for a while. i would say yes to a 5-8 million!
Blue Sun Tzu
If his available on the cheap, I don't see the harm with bringing him in for a while. Apart from the fact that we are already overloaded with central midfielders, that he is not better than Lamps, Ballack, Essien etc. That he is past it. That is is a horrible little c**t. Apart from the fact that we are already overloaded with central midfielders, that he is not better than Lamps, Ballack, Essien etc. That he is past it. That is is a horrible little c***. 1. He is a different type of player to Lampard, Ballack and (in particular) Essien 2. Don't confuse form with ability. He is a very intelligent player who great on the ball and is far from "past it" 3. Calling him a horrible little c*** is a very subjective peice of opinion. It's nice to have players at the club that you like, but should we sell Drogba and Ashley Cole because some people think they are horrible c***s?.
