As you have crossed out Jose, does that mean he's 100% out of it?

Yes, but the bookies will still take your money, so go waste it if you want. icon_lol.gif

What's up with the Rafa-Arse/n-Fergie options? That's not even funny, mate!

p.s. I am with Hiddink!

The odds were taken of 'oddschecker' no bookies are offering prices for them.

Unfortunately, I think Rijkarrd will be next Chelsea manager.

A different take on the unspeakable. I think the answers would be fairly predictable, but still. Out of the three above, who would you least hate to see as Chelsea manager? In order, mine would be:

1. Ferguson

2. Wenger

3. Benitez

I think we'll get Hiddink, or Mancini. However, more likely to be Hiddink as he's not as defensive as Mancinni and he coached the Russian national team

As speculation on the new manager continues, a few special names have been pulled out of the hat.

Jose has ruled himself out | http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3610367,00.html

Sven is on his way to Mexico | http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 08,00.html

"We already know what the Mexican FA are looking for - we'll accept their terms if they call us again," Padilla told Mexican newspaper La Jornada from Manchester.

"If the Mexican FA decide to take him, he will be their coach and the Mexican national team will be his number one choice"

Hiddink has been ruled out | http://www.sportinglife.com/football/ne ... MHD=soccer

"There's no way Guus will go to Chelsea," he said in the Times.

"It's not an option and has never been. Guus is the coach of Russia and will stay until the World Cup of 2010."

That leaves us with 3 big names.

Lippi

Rijkaard

Mancini

and if d'Artagnan accompanies, as the legend has it, then an 'other'

Personally, I'd take Lippi, as would most on the forum.

Who'd you put your money on?

the rumours are fast and furious at the moment

jose coming back if he gets complete control

hughes and zola as his assistant (i quite like the idea of that one)

then we also linked to just about anyone that's been a football manager in the last few years

i thought when avram departed there would have already been someone lined up, and they would have been bought into the hot seat straight away

maybe roman should get out of his executive suit and have a proper go at managing for a few months, then who ever replaces him will be left alone to get on with football properly (thats what me wife said)
