The people of Argentina will never consider Messi the best if he doesn't do it Argentina in the Copa America and World Cups. They are not happy that he left for Spain so young either. There are plenty of Argentinians that don't like him at all.

KO at 11:15pm Setanta/ESPN for people in the UK (and I just found out yesterday that people in Australia can watch it on Setanta too) These are really the two teams who in my opinion could take this Copa off the big guns, Argentina and Brazil, Chile have some great players. Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez are world class players they also have Mauricio Isla and Humberto Suazo. But Uruguay will be favorites with some fantastic players. Deigo Forlan, Luis Suarez, Edison Cavani, Godin, Caceras, Lugano, They really have a team full star players. Should be a great game,

HT. Chile 0 - 0 Uruguay. Another half with no goals in this tournament. It is going to be a disaster for CONMEBOL if this trend continues. 8 games played, 5 of them draws, 3 of them scoreless draws. I want Neymar so bad ... he would refresh our entire game. His pace alone would get me excited... Another season of Anelka and Malouda on the wings would be very hard to overcome

Brazil have been poor so far and judging by the hype around Neymar he has been poor as well. I've seen him about 5 times for Santos where the defending is awful and his a big fish in a small pond, currently this is the 3rd international im watching in him and he's only played well against Scotland baring any change in this game against Paraguay.

Comparing him to Brazilian talents like Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo he has yet to convince me that he's worth 40 million. Sure he's exciting too watch in the Brazilian league but i think he's very suited to La Liga and i strongly believe it is where he will end up.

As for Ganso he has looked like a lost puppy but as im writing this i can see it coming back to haunt me and one of them scores a wonder goal

Argentina just beat Costa Rica by 3 goals and I hope this is sign of things to come as the tournament progresses into the knockouts. Messi was good for a change and could have had half a dozen assists, If things stand as they are they will likely play Peru and I don't see that game being tough if the Argentine lads turn up like they did today.

It was Tevez who missed. Let's be honest and say Argentina just can't work out their best system or best team and that's why they didn't win.

They've got 80 million strikers and no passing midfielders of any real quality. Gago and Banega are rubbish.

Also as much as I enjoyed it the Mascherano red card was a little harsh.

Uruguay played well last night especially when reduced to 10 men and showed good team ethic. The Argies problem is that all their good players play in the same postion and so revert to playing players not in their optimum place, shoehorn as many of them in as possible and thus negate their effectiveness.

No offence to Brazil fans but hope they get knocked out. Want Ramires and Luiz back asap.

Having just seen the Paraguay vs Brazil match ... have to say some pen´s were very embaressing but the pitch was SHOCKING at the penalty spot.

It was pretty awful but the Paraguay players had no problem tucking most of them away.
