Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Maybe wait until you find whether we replace him or not because you sound a bit daft if we do.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
I can’t help but feel that the “equalling the premier league record transfer fee” was a last ‘F you’ from the club. We could have easily help out for another £100k on the fee but it almost like we didn’t want to give him the title, he has to share it 😂

How I see it. They even mention Gusto as a midfielder in thier latest brief. We’ve had a Mexican stand off, blinked, and then are potentially selling him without even getting anyone in. The board would have let Xabi down badly if we don’t buy a midfielder. As pointed out earlier James is not a midfielder, Lavia is injury prone, Barco is new and isn’t physical. They will have undone a good summer window by making us weaker in the middle of the park. All these briefs about ‘we will only sell if we come out of it stronger’. Talking about using Gusto as a midfielder in your media briefings is embarrassing! They have let Alonso down and taken us fans for fools again. These SD’s will always do something stupid and while we have them in charge we’ll never dine at the top table again. They have 4 hours to get us out of this mess or Gusto plays against Arsenal. That is the position we are in right now as it stands.

You want to pay £75m-£85m, well they have rejected £55m for a player Palace walked away from after getting a £34m bid rejected earlier in the summer? There is literally no other competing bids. Sometimes the best thing to do is stand still in the face of chaos.

I think I made that very clear in my earlier post. He will help them, and their squad is big enough to keep him fresher while also demanding less of him. Their passing style should also minimize some of the deficiencies people often point out here, particularly tracking back and winning duels. So no, I don't like City signing this "sh*tty" £125M player while we get nothing or an emergency last-minute CM rando. Personally, I hope he stinks and weakens them instead, but that's not what I expect to happen. I have no problem separating what I hope happens from what I actually expect.

My preferences in order Sell Enzo. Sign a quality replacement Sell Enzo. Sign no one Sell Enzo. Sign someone sh*t for too much money Keep Enzo. It seems like option 1 just wasn't on offer.

I can’t believe city gave us £142m for the 2 Enzo’s. 😂🥳

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Enzo not playing well in a pivot does not justify selling him and not bring in a quality replacement. We got weaker in a very important area. And Gusto is a limited footballer, no matter where he plays.

So you think Enzo Fernandez is a good signing for City?- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
On the bright side, none of then are Enzo- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
I think we still sign Camara tonight. I don’t care if we overpay by 20m or 30m, just get it done.- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Glad this absolute scumbag is gone. Won't miss him in the slightest. Slow, massively limited and massively overestimated passer. I'm not that bothered about anyone else coming in but would love a surprise Morgan Gibbs-White signing.- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
1 is injured, 2 are made of glass, 1 is past it and 1 is inexperienced…WELL DONE BLUECO- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Uh oh- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Couldn't give a f**k about enzo going but its these clowns not City that have ruined our season. They take the money every time, had the whole summer to sort it out but would rather tag everyone along with their briefs which are all lies. They don't care about the club its supporters or our history- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Enzo didn't play next to Caicedo last year reliably. And I think so poorly on him in that pivot role next to Caicedo his replacement being no one is an upgrade. Even Gusto I prefer to Enzo in that role.- Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea

I think you’re missing the point of my post. I wasn’t saying it was wrong or unlawful, I was saying how when we do stuff everyone gets angry. Hence why I put the word loophole in inverted commas, as in how the Chelsea haters could possibly see it. When we sold multiple players to Saudi everyone got upset even though they all do now and suddenly it’s ok. When we bought a young player from Villa and then sold them Maatsen people said it was a dodgy way to get around PSR by overcharging and Villa doing the same, to the point that the EPL and UEFA looked into what they see as swap deals. I agree with what you said, I just feel you didn’t quite get the point I was trying to make.- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
The eyeroll has nothing to do with Enzo but your batsh*t crazy logic, which I'm used to by now. 😁- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Do people really think our lot weren't sorting transfers in until after they sold him, theres no rule to stop us negotiating for a player as we wait to sell fernandez.- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Dont worry heres the replacement https://www.givemesport.com/chelsea-make-calls-deadline-day-bergvall-tottenham-transfer/- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
@acaeus not sure why the eye roll emoji? He’s gone, you’re allowed to admit he’s sh*te and a snake now. No need to be upset for him any longer- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
They didn't have to sell him though, did they? Just like Monaco said no to Kamara deal, or Roma refused to sell Kone. Enzo had years left on his contract, and I don't give sh*t that he wanted to leave. They had all summer to get a replacement in, but they were waiting for City 's bid until it was too late. They just chose money, that's their nature.- Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
If he didn’t realise this was coming I fear he’s taken too many knocks to the head
