  1. I have as much confidence with a win as I did against West Brom and that went well! I'd swap Oscar for RLC add a bit more physical presence and don't play Matic! A win please Chelsea don't care how you do it we demand victory over the blue scouters!
  2. Duff, Carvalho, Ferreira, Cudicini, Alex, Gallas (forget the Arsenal rubbish), Bridge (remember the Arsenal goal), the mighty Makelele! Those were happy days. To have a squad like that is a rarity, we were very very fortunate. I felt proud as hell to see any of those to wear a blue shirt because I knew the'd give it all, I think Jose was brought back to produce something to this standard but it wasn't to be. I've thought as the years go by that footballers are becoming soulless, is it money? is it a generation of weak personalities? Are expectations too high on our club. I cannot see a squad to that level around soon if ever, I'd happily go with the long term team development and a manager that Roman can feel satisfied with for longer than 3 years but is that honestly possible? I know I'd feel more attached, more interested in and prouder of a squad not based on their cost. We have the players out there on loan or in the academy that can change the current atmosphere and opinions positively but it has to be based on a Manager not forced to over achieve, I'm afraid Roman needs to change first.
  3. An enjoyable game of football for me, some great movement and forward passing, very impressed with Pedro and Oscar and a win with 3 goals. Well done Chelsea keep up the good work!
  4. Perhaps this could cheer us up a bit Courtois Azpilicueta Cahill Zouma Rahman RLC Mikel Kenedy Willian Traore Remy See what they can do!
  5. Thibaut Courtois was stroking Azpi's arm, nuff said!
  6. I'm not as devastated as the first time, I've found Mourinho's antics to be quite embarrassing and his decisions for the choice of players and the formation very frustrating but the man deserves his dues. A huge ego that can be overwhelming sometimes but a Chelsea champion none the less, a real winner! I thank him from my heart for some unforgettable days under his management. I'm afraid that having an owner at this club that knows diddly-squat about football and surrounds himself with people that also know diddly-squat is my biggest concern. There is anger and disappointment and blaming but we all know we have these emotions because we support CFC and it was here long before the current owner and will be here long after. I'm Chelsea till I die (and it will still be here after that)!
  7. Well this could be the big crunch day if you believe in the media but I don't. Hopefully the people that truely run CFC will think rationally and make a decision for the best of the club. The club has 30 something players on loan, the club has one of the most impressive football academies In the world! We are overwhelmed with players with skill and spirit but all I seem to read is "who are we buying in January"! Is that it for the future of CFC, who we f*****g buy. We have it all, we need the whole club from supporters to players to acknowledge how much we have and also appreciate how much we have. Managers come and go but the club must have a solid base and for me it's the academy. Jose is not interested in young talent at home, then sack him, find someone that does, make the manager work for what we want not what they want. I think there's a lot of people out there that want home grown talent, we have it so use it, or it's a disgusting waste of time, effort and investment. I blame no individual for the current demise It's been the whole club through and through, I'm praying that if there has been meetings it's been meaningful, practical and based on long term improvements not been based on who the f*** we are buying in January!
  8. We'll whip their arse this time! Glad to see Arsenal are getting knocked out
  9. I'm very disappointed with Mourinho's persona. I've become nervous when waiting for his interviews, his choice of players and his attitude towards fellow workers and the club that pay his Swiss bank sized wages. I was very wary of his return I don't believe in come backs, the first season was nothing I hadn't seen under other managers, a good start to last season but the style reverted to defend and hope. This season is something many younger supporters have not experienced, fortunately I have, I could see it being a hang over start but not this poor. I watched his players at Real Madrid turn on him and it's clearly happening here, like you say it's hard if not impossible to get them back behind you. Hope of changing his coaching style, his team choices and maybe some respect of others is still there for me, we'll see. Porto will hopefully feel the wrath!
  10. I was screaming like I was conceiving when we got up their end but it was a false alarm!I blame texting with my big thumbs or beer. Well observed though.
  11. Diego off target again, more training on Monday for him.
  12. That was a definite D'oh! game, didn't feel threatened by Titenham, our team looked a lot more controlled and confident, the defence was organised that includes big bum Ivana and we seemed to have pace up front. Lack of a goal is gutting however, the chances were there with shiny bells and arrows around the oppositions goal but nothing to show for it. Happy not to lose, happy with a team attitude, happy we didn't concede. Onward and upward.
  13. Begovic Azpi Zouma Cahill Baba RLC Matic Kenedy Willian. Hazard Traore That would would get the heart racing! Tittenham wouldn't know what hit them. If only JM, if only.
