I' m not sure what's happening to the posts today ! Anyway, to address Scott's point about " if I don't like it, don't come on here"....well, as a Chelsea supporter for over 40 years I think I'm entitled to have a view on what appears on a Chelsea forum, seeing as this club is the ONLY club I support. I might add that if you don't like my views then don't come on a forum called "why Rangers", but that would just be childish, wouldn't it ?

He was a fine player, but his best years were behind him when he came to us. Remember him playing in a european game for us one night, but can't really recall much else to be honest.

Agreed chippy...having had the chance to watch the game now, I'm more confident than last night, bags of possession and chances, I'd be more worried if we weren't making those chances.I think we have to trust Jose to get it right, I don't Arsenal will look forward to playing us. no, you're right mate. Have a look at the support Palace get from their fans at Selhurst, a club not blessed with money or success, and their fans used to be pony, have a look at them on YTube, it puts us to shame....you know, I'd give up success to have support like that at the Bridge,

That's one way of looking at it chippy.Tbh, it wouldn't bother me if we don't win anything for a couple of seasons, as long as the team is going in the right direction, too much short termism has brought us to this,,I'd like to see more youngsters coming thru and the team being developed rather than taking a punt on expensive players all the time. In this respect I blame RA , who has known only relative success and seems to believe the team being trophy less somehow reflects on him. He needs to immerse himself in the Chesea culture, which means enduring a few years of sh*t to appreciate the good times
