  1. Spot on! Everything about the chap is genius, he's one of a kind. Mourinho is a man of many talents, the mind games, comments about Wenger & Pellegrini, he knows what he's doing, he's destroying them psychologically! Just as George Groves did with Carl Froch prior to their first fight.. Groves went in the underdog, had the boxing world against him, but he came out being cheered... That's Mourinho, with his comments & the way he is, anyone who isn't Chelsea stands against Chelsea, but Mourinho is a winner, he's a champion, so he'll always prevail. Tactically, like a magician, as mentioned, he understands the ins & outs of his team.. He gets to know his players, their strengths & weaknesses, what will work right against certain opposition... For example, the 1 nil win at Man City in the league was preparation at its finest, nobody else has gone there and played how we played, allowing them no time on the ball, closing them down when they had possession etc. Sometimes you need luck, Man United have had luck for many a year winning the league back to back.. But this season, I do believe it's ours. That 1 nil win at Man City will be crucial, the last minute penalty against West Brom at the Bridge to secure a point, that'll be vital too.. Was that luck? How about the times Man U have had 'Fergie times' and secured all three points or as we did vs. the Baggies, got back in to the game to secure a point.. After decades of success was Alex Ferguson not deemed the greatest manager the sport has ever seen? I think so. When all is said & done, people will look back at the greatest manager the world has ever witnessed, and that will be Jose Mourinho.
  2. It is actually painful to watch England, as much as you love to see you country playing in European Championships and World Cups, I'd rather them not qualify! Save us all the heartache & usual hyped up media nonsense! The Euros in 2008 was brilliant, I loved every minute of it.. And England didn't even qualify! I can't understand the media's big fascination with Rooney as well or am I missing something? He is a workaholic for United, tracking back, winning the ball, defending etc.. But he's not a goal scorer, he's turned in to a Juan Mata, a feeder for RVP... All the heaped pressure on Rooney to perform.. how many has it scored this season, out of interest? Our main men will be the two centre backs and keeper, so hopefully Joe Hart finds some form, Gary Cahill is looking solid, and whoever plays alongside him. I don't know why I'm rambling on about England 'cause as stated, we are sh*te! Definitely looking forward to watching the South American teams.. Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay.. not so much Argentina.. just 'cause it's Argentina.. Belgium definitely, with Courtois, Lukaku, Hazard etc. Top young team, fair play! Always a pleasure watching Spain, group games like Spain vs. Chile should be a cracker tbh, Colombia vs. Ivory Coast, Brazil vs. Cameroon, Germany vs. Ghana etc.. should be great viewing, well, other than the eyesore that is our national team!
  3. Welcome to the Shed End & where are ya from if you don't mind me asking? I'm assuming India or Nepal? Keep The Blue Flag Flyin' High wherever it may be!
  4. I watched Prisoners Sunday night.. was a cracking film if you like thrillers.. a bit like Seven... good twist, great plot, fantastic acting etc.. would highly recommend it.
  5. Gallas... "Sell me or I'll score an own goal" .. what a prat! And Gus Poyet for obvious reasons.. Don't get me wrong, I loved him when he played in royal blue, but what he did was a complete 'f**k you' to CFC.. to kiss the crest of one of your biggest rivals.. Nah, what a w*nker!
  6. A: Brazil, Mexico B: Spain, Chile C: Colombia, Ivory Coast D: Uruguay, Italy E: Switzerland, France F: Argentina, Nigeria G: Germany, Portugal H: Belgium, Russia Pretty much the same.. Got a feeling most the South American teams are gonna do well.
  7. Oh sh*t, and welcome by the way Bucks Blue.. Sorry, I got carried away!
  8. "sh*t on the Villa, sh*t on the Villa tonight" -- "sh*t on the Baggies, sh*t on the Baggies tonight"... they don't seem to mind sh*tting on one another in the West Midlands, I bet the Coventry supporters loved it!
  9. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Did you watch it in 3-D? because I didn't and I thought it was terrible, don't get me wrong, the visuals were stunning, but overall... crap! Looking forward to The Hobbit now, oh yes!
  10. We must all admit, Lamps has been poor as well. Okay, he scored twice last Saturday and had a decent game, which earned him man of the match... But other times this season he's not been the Lampard we've been use to watching the past decade. Obviously a contributing factor is age, and you can't rely on one player to carry a team, but it needs to be addressed that players are inconsistent. A decent performance may be vital one game, but a sh*te performance from the same player may be costly the next. Agreed with what's been said about Mata, decent vs. Arsenal in the Capital One but mediocre performances on the other occasions. Luiz is dodgy, I don't reckon he takes on board constructive criticism tbh, a great chap off the pitch, but his minds on other things on it. Cahill started off decent in his first few games, I don't know what to make of him now. Ashley Cole is losing it. Cech is inconsistent. We've not got a prolific goal scorer either (I hope Lukaku starts next season) Schurrle has looked decent in the games he's played, but the team is built on attacking, too many attacking players.. We've got three strikers that aren't consistently scoring; Torres, Eto'o and Ba. And we all know Mourinho is more of a defensive manager, you've just got to look at his first spell at us, the first two seasons we must've conceded about thirty goals over two seasons... over seventy-six league matches!.. and we still managed to scored a sh*t load, mental! If you can get it right at the back then you can get it right at the front.. Play from the back, defend well and the scoring will come. But we aren't defending well either, that's another problem in the many contributing problems to sh*te performances. So yeah, I'm inclined to agree with all of you, the team is unbalanced and it's not a team of Mourinho's choosing. But hey ho, we're still in a great position, I'm feeling positive about December and the second half of the season, and I reckon when the boys get playing they'll absolutely demolish anyone!
  11. Fair play mate, seems there's lots of followers across the pond now, which is great! You'd love it at the Bridge, all welcome. Made me laugh Moi replying piss-up to you, I always seem to chat in good ol' English slang too, whilst chatting to Americans, Canadians, Aussies etc.. A good ol' piss-up is everyone getting together for a good session on the alcohol. It's just that, a good drinky poos. Good to have you on board!
  12. Hang on... £300 outfits.. Scousers... *confused
  13. This is on Fifa '14, I bought the album last week, can't stop listening to it. The artist name is St. Lucia, the album's called 'When The Night'. Decent!
  14. I was still under the impression you still live in France, so thought I'd attract your attention first
  15. Top player, workaholic! as mentioned he's scored important goals over the years and he's a rock in defence! All 'round a top player and seems like a genuinely nice chap as well. Definitely one of the key players over the years, someone you always feel comfortable seeing in the starting line-up. Obviously he's made cock ups defensively, but we all make mistakes... Even God has made a mistake, by creating spurs!
