January Blues

Looking forward to the game tonight.. watched the Yanks beat the Germans last night, was a decent game, Germany ran out of steam.. I've enjoyed the Women's World Cup, there's been some cracking goals and some great football been played. I never thought I'd be in to ladies football but it's been decent, I'm just hoping England can do the business tonight, the blokes ought to take note. Sampson's squad are only the third England team to reach a World Cup semi final, after the 1990 men's side and the 1966 World Cup winners. Fair play to 'em! We're at an age where ladies have more bollocks than blokes! I admire them for getting as far as the semi's. Anything from here is a bonus! They should be very proud of themselves!

Italian football has been on the decline in recent years, I remember Serie A being the dogs dangly bits back in the 90's! Remember that Football Italia show on Channel 4 showing the highlights every Sunday.. use to love that! I tuned in to Napoli vs. Lazio Sunday night on BT.. It was a cracking game, fair play! 3rd vs. 4th, Lazio went 2 up in the first half.. Napoli came out all guns blazing in the second half, got the game level.. both teams had a men sent off, Napoli won a penalty, Higuain had the opportunity to put Napoli 3-2 up but skied it! One of Lazio's subs made it 3-2 with only being on the pitch ninety seconds... then Klose sealed it 4-2 in the 93rd minute! That's how I remember Italian football! Exciting! Plus Juve being the the CL final, fair play to 'em! Especillay after getting relegated to Serie B 9 years ago, mental! It's a shame to see both Milan teams struggling in recent years, both massive clubs that should be pushing for the titile every season. I can't see that changing with Juve being dominant, plus Lazio & Roma seem to be stronger every season!

Mad Max Fury Road, fantastic film! I don't like the originals and I'm not a big fan of action movies but this film blew me away! By far the best experience I've had at a cinema! 10/10, highly recommend!

So excited, must've seen the trailer about thirty times already! It's got the potential to be the greatest Bond film ever! Bond 25 will follow on from Spectre so we won't have to wait too long for that, perhaps two years, I'm guessing late 2017 sometime. By the time Daniel Craig hangs up his boots we could be two times European champions, nine times FA Cup winners and one or two more premier league titles!

Great film, picked it up in HMV about a month ago, it surprised me tbh.

2012 when we won the Champions League, Barcelona played attractive football, we got our name on the trophy. Winning, always. Arsenal have played attractive football for years, okay they won the FA Cup last season but one trophy in eight years. It doesn't matter how you win, as long as you're winning. I don't know if any of you watch NFL but I look as the New York Giants as the American football version of Chelsea. I found this on the Mail's site:- Both Chelsea and the Giants are used to winning things, even if it isn’t the most attractive watching. New York have lifted the Super Bowl in both 2007 and 2012, while Chelsea have won pretty much every trophy possible over the last 10 years.

I know it's a while 'til we start to speculate who we'll be signing in the Summer, but who do you think we should sign? and what players do you reckon we can cash in on to abide by financial fair play? Personally I would love to see us sign Pogba from Juve but that's gonna come at a cost.. It would be hard to tempt him to SW6 with the likes of Barca, Real Madrid, PSG & Man City after him as well. As someone else mentioned on here, I wouldn't mind seeing Bale at Chelsea.. I know he's been crap this season but he's still a top player! and we need someone who can take free kicks, someone who can put the ball in the back of the net from 30 yards like Lamps use to. I reckon Cech will leave us in the summer and what a great servant he's been to Chelsea, I don't know how much we'll get for him.. He's still a top keeper and better than most first teamers in the Prem alone! However, I reckon he'll go abroad because he wouldn't want to play against Chelsea.. maybe to Ligue 1 or Serie A? only time will tell. Is Drogba calling it a day? we have Remy, do we need a third striker in case Costa gets injured? if so, are there any suitable replacements? And what about Branislav Ivanovic? it's all hear say but will he leave us at the end of this season? I hope not as he's a top player, one my favourites and he's one of those you can always rely on to put in 110% I would like to see your transfer targets for the next window, players that will make us stronger next season. It shouldn't be allowed, there's people on there supporting Man U, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, PSG. WTF is all that about?

How shocking were we tonight? No passion whatsoever! Remember when we won the Champions League, there is a serious lack of that passion in our current squad. When Mou brought on Drogba, he seemed to lift the players & we were the better team in extra time but overall, we were sh*te! Costa & Cesc both are shadows of the players they were at the beginning of the season. Willian frustrates me, obviously Mourinho has faith in him but he's inconsistent. Hazard wasn't really in the game. We aren't clinical, we try to play all this lovely football, trying to walk it in to net like Arsenal.. We've too many Brazilians in the team, Ramires isn't good enough, neither is Willian, Costa, will he be as good as Zola or Drogba? Maybe, maybe not. Oscar frustrates me at times too, he's inconsistent. I see JT putting 110% in. Azpilicueta too. Courtois & Matic, they do their best, so does Ivanovic. Very frustrating, sh*te football, rubbish. Remember we beat Barcelona with ten men? Because we had passion under Di Matteo, there was a serious lack of desire this evening. The only positive is at least we can focus on the league. Roll on Southampton, let's do a domestic double this season anyway.

I saw Kingsman yesterday.. Top film! I recommend going to see it, there's a scene in a church and freebird is playing, it's absolutely top notch! Like Richard above, I give it a 9/10
